Id imagine the Emmys are getting harder and harder to produce. Most of the good shows are on cable. Most of the mega movie stars arent there. There arent any musical #s. Multiple directors direct episodes of one tv show so nobody ever heard of them. They should really skip this whole miniseries category but it seems like its growing every year. Finally, this host is horrible. Amy Poehler & Kimmel have blown him away in their brief time.

I disagree about the stars. This year has more movie stars than ever: MM, Woody. Julia, Jodie Foster, Hamm, Voight, and so on.
 
I'm not sure why Seth Meyer was giving a late night show, he seems very limited as a comedian and even in his limited sweetspot of dry humor I feel there are many that do it better than him.

This year yes but thats not the norm. I wouldnt call Hamm a movie star though
