2014 HBO "Hard Knocks" - who gets forced to be on it? (1 Viewer)

Who should be forced to appear on this year's Hard Knocks?

The NFL can force one of eight teams to be on the show.

Here's how you avoid the forced list:

Now the league can force a team to admit HBO cameras into their training camp unless that team a) has a new head coach, b) made the playoffs in one of the previous two seasons, or c) already appeared on the show in the last 10 years.
What team do you think gets forced to be on the show?

If HBO has their pick, Steelers, with Giants they only other consideration.

But I can see the Raiders volunteering and, as mentioned above, the Chargers.

I would guess the Giants ownership has enough influence to avoid having to do it. This would be a good one for Gekko to weigh in.

Who should be? Obviously the Steelers would be the best of this list to be on the show.

Most likely it's the Raiders.

I don't really care - it's an awesome show no matter the team.

I'm not sure if I'd really want the Bills on this show. It'd be cool, but I wouldn't want it to be a distraction and there's not enough drama there to be that exciting anyway. 2nd year coach, 2nd year QB, possible new Defensive Coordinator. I think pretty much every other team would offer more to this show than Buffalo.

Goodell is such a moron.
Do you really think he's a moron? I think he's a brilliant guy who is taking the league in a direction most of us disagree with. He's making it bigger and more profitable at the expense of the game itself. If he was mismanaging the league that'd be a different story.

This is more what I meant. He's obviously not a dumb individual. His ego will be the downfall of some great parts of the game. Of course, he will be rich and long gone by then so why should he care. He has all the answers. Doesn't really care what players or fans think.

He's making the Shield money, which seems to be the only thing that matters. It doesn't make him stupid.

This makes him an ahole, not a moron.

For those of you who don't get to the SP, the new season premieres at the top of the hour on HBO.

Atlanta Falcons.

Nice choices, Servo.

Smith and Dimitroff...meh.

Dip#### Mike Tice still has a job in the league. :puke: :vomit:  :yak:

Kroy Bierman's daughter :moneybag:
She's umm not exactly 18 yet
He's not much older than his step-daughter. This family is a freakin Movie of the Week.

In May 2010, Kroy participated in Dancing Stars Of Atlanta charity event to raise money for Alzheimer's disease. There he met Kim Zolciak, and soon after she was pregnant. Their meeting was later shown on season three of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Their son Kroy Jagger Biermann Jr. was born May 30, 2011. The couple wed at their rented Roswell, Georgia home on November 11, 2011. They have had three more children together: Kash Kade Biermann (born August 15, 2012) and twins daughter Kaia Rose and son Kane Ren, on November 25, 2013. Kim has two daughters from her previous boyfriend (Brielle (born February 25, 1997) and first husband Daniel Toce (Ariana (born October 17, 2001). In 2013 Kroy legally adopted his wife Kim's two daughters Ariana and Brielle.

That lady was super annoying. My wife and I both asked each other if we were supposed to know who she was

It's hard for me to remain objective because I've never liked the Falcons, but their staff seems like a bunch of bumbling idiots to me. What am I missing here?

And what did Tice mumble on the sideline during the Dolphins game as he was walking away from Smith? Anyone catch that? Seemed like a snide remark.

It's hard for me to believe Bryan Cox and Mike Tice are on the same coaching staff.

It's even harder to believe Tice was a head coach.
