If you vote "other", then please feel free to add a post explaining who you have voted for.

Will Sankey be the first RB off the board in standard and not in ppr? Converse would make more sense.

Voting is goofy (in general, not just these polls).

I think besides Watkins and it appears Evans, there's not much consensus as far as rookies go ATM. That should sort itself out once we know where these guys end up.

Sure, but I see Sankey's primary advantage is as a third-down back. Looking at the 1.03 standard poll again, it was so close that it doesn't tell us much. In fact, Hyde apparently overtook Sankey after voting closed.

I would have expected Hyde to beat out Sankey in standard scoring and for Sankey to be more popular in PPR as well. Hyde currently has 1 more vote than Sankey in the 1.03 poll; however, it was after I closed that poll and published the 1.04 poll.

Who are the players that you think should be added next?

wow, even in PPR I can't see 3 WRs go off on the 1st 3 picks. Even going WR back to back on 1 & 2 is super rare and the only time I've seen it was during AJG and Julio.

The PPR poll has a leader. I will leave this open a touch longer, and Rookie 1.05 will go up today.

Please feel free to post comments on what players you think I am either overlooking or who you think should go up next, especially if you voted "other".

In 2003 Charles Rodgers and Andre Johnson were almost universally the top 2 rookie picks in drafts that season. Rightly so because of their very high NFL draft position (2nd and 3rd overall).

RB impact was reduced that season also because the top 2 RB Mcgahee and Larry Johnson were not going to start right away. Willis came in with an injury and Johnson was behind Priest Holmes.

Anquan Boldin also came from that draft class but was not being drafted very high as he was only a 2nd round pick.

What was interesting about the 2003 draft is that the Cardinals had 2 1st round picks, they used on WR Bryant Johnson (17) then Calvin Pace (18) but then also drafted Boldin in round 2 (54). Boldin fell in the draft due to running 4.7 40 yard dash. He put up amazing numbers as a rookie which sort of taught everyone that speed isn't everything for a receiver.

Larry Fitzgerald was then drafted by the Cardinals in 2004. The Cardinals had learned something from the previous draft. They drafted WR almost as aggressively as the Lions did with their 3 1st round picks at the position.
