2014 STOCK CONTEST- For guderian;RESULTS IN POST 379 (1 Viewer)

Not allowed in this contest(penny stock) but someone alerted it to me yesterday. GRNH. A lighting company for marijuana growers. Was hovering at .10-.18 and then got popped yesterday to .52. Might be worth a small flier. I would think a small pullback is in order first though.

Forget about the pullback being in order......off to the races with this one.

Once you have a brokerage account set up, you can buy stock. I am not sure if all accounts can trade penny stocks.because of their high risk and illiquidity. You need to understand that they are very illiquid and move very quickly. You may try to get out of a position and find it difficult or that you can only get out at a much lower price than you wanted.

I bought some. :bag:

Shoot, been meaning to get in and got too busy at the start of the year...posting anyway just to get my Star so I can follow the thread easier. :)

Was going to go with NXTD.

It's a scary small company putting a lot of money into "The Wocket", but it looks like a great and well thought out product that I think the world needs (I plan to buy one)...they just need to prove it's secure. There's not a lot of information out there other than filings, but I think they are a solid takeover candidate regardless of the success of this product due to the patents they own in 3D and bio-metric capabilities. The fact that retailers don't need to do anything to accept payments with the Wocket is both a good and bad thing in my mind. Good because it can be used anywhere, bad because I'm not sure how much revenue outside of Wocket sales they can generate. They plan on selling added insurance and accessories, but I haven't been able to find any specifics or numbers anywhere.

I'm new to all of this investing stuff though...so if anyone has thoughts on them I'd be very interested either here or on IM.

ETA: Jan 1 price 4.00, Time of posting 4.75

oof. This is one to monitor for when California gets close to legalization. Would be a good idea to be in it before that. It's coming.

General M, would you mind commenting on AMYGF? Very thinly traded I see. An office mate and I saw, along with the rest of the world, that Soros and crew bought CACQ and was thinking about piling on until we saw this Thanks.

I would think a bunch of guys with a lot of money trying to proliferate online gaming would be a big win for Amaya. Adelson would seem to be the problem for them.

Do standings get updated quarterly or something? Or do we just get a final tally at the end of the year?

Sorry for the ignorance. This is my first time doing this.

I update quarterly. Top Five a whole two weeks in are:

PLUG +133%

FEYE +58

GALE +46

SCTY +32

RIC +30

ETA- Sheik - You are up 1%.Citi disappointed on earnings today.

Liberator Medical Holdings, Inc.

Closed 2012 at $0.71 and 2013 at $4.17 and is at $4.30 now
7 trading days later and it's $5.32
Interesting. Where do you see this going?
Up good again today. Looks like a good company, with subsidiaries, that delivers medical supplies direct to consumer (mainly to Medicare eligible seniors). And we all know there are plenty of them now, with millions more baby boomers on their way. You have probably seen their commercials, like this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Tsx_pDOKnw

Liberator Medical Holdings is a provider of medical supplies focusing on four product lines: diabetes, urological, ostomy and mastectomy. It provides supplies mainly to Medicare-eligible seniors. For the third quarter of last year, the company reported net sales worth $69.11 million, up by 13.4% on the year. Its net income surged by over 180% to $7.1 million. The EPS of the company was reported at $0.14, versus $0.05 for the same period of last year.

The only thing I see is that Millenium Partners sold some of their stake. I don't know if they are a major holder but, if so, that could be enough to move a small stock.

I don't think there's a regular schedule of standings updates. Folks just sorta follow along and bump the thread :)

Ooops
I think we will be good with this in the long run GM. I'm actually cost averaged down to .48. Holding 4k shares. Lighter than normal volumes recently with a slight increase in price. Consolidating.
