I would add INO if it's not too late or if no one already has it.
Your are locked in for CHTP, but for unofficial tracking purposes, it is trading @ 3.42, up 18% YTD from 2.90.

Still plenty of time left. I read somewhere that Citi is more of a end of the year performer. Not sure if it matters that I wrote it, but I did actually read it.

Citi has had a rough time recently due to heavy emerging markets exposure and then being one of the few banks that did not pass their stress test.

NBS closed a little below their starting price. I promised myself if that happened, I would buy some. I put in a market order at $6.80. Though it opened up, it filled during a dip intraday. I got skin in this game now.

:football:

Nailed my short on Groupon - Still has room to fall --------------> to ZERO

Unfortunately this is the only thing I've gotten right this year :kicksrock:

Dang, PLUG getting hammered lately. Down to 4.85 at the moment. My GTAT hasn't been doing so great either and is down to 15.27.

Will be interesting if this continues and opens the competition back up.

Shoot, been meaning to get in and got too busy at the start of the year...posting anyway just to get my Star so I can follow the thread easier. :)

Was going to go with NXTD.

It's a scary small company putting a lot of money into "The Wocket", but it looks like a great and well thought out product that I think the world needs (I plan to buy one)...they just need to prove it's secure. There's not a lot of information out there other than filings, but I think they are a solid takeover candidate regardless of the success of this product due to the patents they own in 3D and bio-metric capabilities. The fact that retailers don't need to do anything to accept payments with the Wocket is both a good and bad thing in my mind. Good because it can be used anywhere, bad because I'm not sure how much revenue outside of Wocket sales they can generate. They plan on selling added insurance and accessories, but I haven't been able to find any specifics or numbers anywhere.

I'm new to all of this investing stuff though...so if anyone has thoughts on them I'd be very interested either here or on IM.

ETA: Jan 1 price 4.00, Time of posting 4.75
With an advertising campaign starting tomorrow for The Wocket, the stock is really moving today, almost 4x avg volume and chewing through a large ask order. Very excited to see the commercials tomorrow. I am however disappointed in their changing the price point from $99 to $150. That's a significant barrier for me.

It would seem the Wocket would burn a hole in your pocket at that price :)

If it's a sexy enough product that does what it claims the price won't make or break its success...but they are pricing out a large number of people going over $100 IMO, but it's possible they are pricing it as a premium product to set it apart from the other mobile payment solutions popping up (most $50-$75 from what I've seen)

I'll preorder a limited edition/investor model so I can make a better judgement on my investment...but the price hike made me at least think about it.

My entry acquired another company in an all-stock deal. Stock that they apparently pulled out of their ###. Down over 25%. :bag:

STOP BUMPING THIS GD THREAD!!!
:lmao:

Buy some EXOXF and forget about it for a few months. I got....a feel on this one.
How do you even buy it GB? Etrade shows me a volume of zero today.

ETA: Did you buy 1500 shares yesterday?
I'm buying it on Schwab and see volume of over 500K shares traded today. I bought a little less than that, but sold off some shares of other stocks this week to add more next week. Not sure why Etrade would show no volume, though I would bet it trades on the grey market there. I'll look at my Ameritrade account and see if it's similar.

Yeah, same deal on Ameritrade. Shows EXO U on the grey market, which is what it did for Amaya once upon a time. I'll buy some more of this next week and will try to add it in my Ameritrade account. I'm restricted today. Grey markets are an odd thing.

Interesting, marketwatch shows 35k shares traded:

$2.83? It was like in the $2.30's yesterday... Marketwatch is also showing $2.42 as is Etrade. Maybe I'm just too much of a beginner for this one.
I think GM is looking at the Canadian listing and FC at the US.

I assume I can't buy anything on the Canadian indexes on Etrade?

Correct. $2.89 CDN vs $2.69 USD. Given the current exchange rate (0.93 USD to $1 CDN) this makes sense.

Okay, this all makes sense... I was entering EXOXF, but I do see the same info you posted when I enter EXO. It pulls up a quote, but doesn't let me purchase. MA is correct, if you upgrade to a global account, then you can purchase on Etrade.
