2014 Suicide Pool Strategy Thread (1 Viewer)

With BillyJoeBob riding the 49ers with yours truly, we have an end game scenario in play.

If San Francisco loses this afternoon, austins7601 will win the 2014 FBG Suicide Pool.

I went with Denver this week. Only lost one that took Nola this week so far. Have a guy that was tripling up on his entries until he had three of the six he had left get eliminated, ultimately has two entries left. He doubled up on Minnesota and squeaked by. Assuming Denver wins, taking Baltimore next week.

I have to give it up to austins7601. He made a play to win the entire pool this weekend despite having non-ideal options for Week 15 by taking the Lions.

It's a gamble that looks like it may very well pay off. The 49ers defense are making Derek Carr look all-pro with his 80+% completion rate. Harbaugh's team is effectively sabotaging their coach's job interview with Oakland. I mean, why would the Raiders take a guy who can't even beat their current awful coach with a much better team?

Congratulations on the Suicide Pool win, austins7601! :tebow:

I did gamble and got lucky apparently. I had some really lucky moments to win this thing. The last 2nd buffalo td to beat minnesota and the saints comeback against Tampa Bay probably the two luckiest moments I had. Well, sometimes it's better to be lucky than good. I am going to enjoy my moment cause I'm not sure it will happen again. It's been fun.

Hey Lascelle, could you still do the breakdowns even though the FBG contest is over? They're really helpful.
I may if I have some time available this week. Don't count on anything too extensive, though. I've got two fantasy semi-final matchups to focus on.

Congrats again to Fantasy Stud!

I guess this thread has largely died. FWIW, I'm going KC this week. One of the last 11 in a pool of 2200+. I can't see others' picks - past or present - so I can't tell how good my chances are.

Down to final nine. Had anticipated going Miami this week but will probably switch it up and go Bufallo at Oakland.

Of course, Buffalo lost. I finish in 6th place, which of course pays nothing. Still, by far the longest I've lasted in one of these. Thanks for the help in this thread.
