Livingston and Barbosa are a combined 13-for-15 from the floor.
Will it matter if Curry and Klay show up?Well this ones over. Hopefully Cleveland shows up next game.
For some reason Livingston looks like he belongs in the old Globetrotters cartoon. At least the Scooby Doo guest star versions.Bruce Dickinson said:Livingston and Barbosa are a combined 13-for-15 from the floor.
He shouldn't touch the ball on offense unless it's an open 3Love looks terrible.
I'm shocked too. I was told Cleveland was as deep as Golden State. My mistake.GS just squashed the Cavs with Curry/Klay doing next to nothing. Not good for Cleveland.
Dribble out near half court till less than 10 on the clock, then drive and turn it over. They're executing it perfectly.Do the Cavs have an offensive strategy?
Good luck if you plan on winning the series that way.I'm shocked too. I was told Cleveland was as deep as Golden State. My mistake.
His features are a bit cartoonish. His facial hair is trimmed so precisely it looks like it was drawn on. He has extra long arms like the 'Trotters all had in the cartoons. And he's muscular but not bulked up or ripped, so he looks like a player from an older era.For some reason Livingston looks like he belongs in the old Globetrotters cartoon. Probably spike the likes with droppin dimes droppin dimes.Better thread title: this one, or "Kevin Love just asked mom if Lebron is still mad at him"?
bananafish said:Are there odds on a team winning the series in a specific number of games? I've heard percentages of likelihood bandied about (GS in five was the most likely iirc) but no odds that I can see. If you can find odds I'd go anywhere from 0-$1000 depending on what they are.
But if this is one of those dumb posts about wagering 1:1 on something that has <.5 chance of happening and how I'm not willing to put my money were my mouth is because I have >1 brain cells then save your breath.
As an aside, I'm about +10 units simply betting the favorites in these Playoffs. The team that has failed me the most is, unironically, the Cavs.
Let's not forget Cleveland has lost five straight to Golden State already.
I like GSW to win tommorow 110-89
So I like GS -5.5, u209.5 for game 1 and -210 for the series. Name your price. And if you have odds on a sweep let me know.
Let's all take our homer glasses off for a minute. Cleveland has nothing positive to take away from game 1. Their offense was stagnant and their defense was absolutely terrible. I assure you I would say the exact thing no matter who was playing.Someone tell Doris the Cavs were winning in the 3rd. Production keeps getting better and better. Good game all. See you in like a week.

That's a Globetrotter if I ever seen one!
Him getting bullied is pretty horrible. I'm not going to sit here and start flexing and act like he needs to be Bill Laimbeer but he's super soft. It's embarrassing watching him get bodied out there. He's soft.Love wasn't horrible, he got bullied and was asked to be a low post presence, which didn't end all that well.
That was a roller coaster ride.I really don't know if Lue can play chess with Kerr this series. Lue hasn't proved he can adjust rosters as a NBA coach. Blatt maximized the hell out of Cleveland last year with a roster that was far worse.
But it's one game. Let's see what Lue does in game 2. He has a mountain to climb this series though - that's for sure.
He kept pump faking and getting hit and expecting a foul that wasn't coming this game. That's his style. He's basically a slow 3 that can rebound. Dunno, mistakes were made.Him getting bullied is pretty horrible. I'm not going to sit here and start flexing and act like he needs to be Bill Laimbeer but he's super soft. This will be a more interesting matchup after he's traded for Cousins.Love wasn't horrible, he got bullied and was asked to be a low post presence, which didn't end all that well.
They can take away it's just one game. You're right, the offense was stagnant...Cavs have to win the low 100s games. And they need to protect the ball better and get loose balls. No idea why Frye played only 7 minutes.Let's all take our homer glasses off for a minute. Cleveland has nothing positive to take away from game 1. there's certainly a scenario out there where the Kings disappoint next year and Cousins sabatoges his own value in the process.People vastly overestimate Love's value, even before this recent spurt. Even Divac isn't high enough to make that trade, nor LAC's GM the one for Blake Griffin.
My mistake. I'm sure Curry and Thompson will only shoot 17% for the rest of the series when they take wide open shots. If you took off your homer glasses you might say they defended Curry and Klay halfway decent at least.
YesIs the line on the back of Lebron's head due to a hair transplant?
That's not a new thing.Him getting bullied is pretty horrible. I'm not going to sit here and start flexing and act like he needs to be Bill Laimbeer but he's super soft. It's embarrassing watching him get bodied out there. He's soft.
I thought the defense was fine. Make non-splash brothers beat them. They did. Gotta give credit to how well the Warriors played on d too.Let's all take our homer glasses off for a minute. LOL look at this idiotTobiasFunke said:Yeah I don't get this either. They looked deep earlier in the season but Livingston seems to have fallen off a cliff, which leaves them without any real depth in the backcourt. And Bogut's not gonna give them much against the Cavs either IMO. He's a good post defender but the Cavs don't really go to the block except to LeBron, who I assume will not be manned by Bogut.
Kyrie's defense, on the other hand ... that's a real problem. Maybe he suddenly pulls it together, IIRC there was talk that he was defending much better last year in the playoffs before his injury. But I'll believe it when I see it.
Warriors in 5 for me. Cavs could spring the upset, but I think the Cleve lost its best shot at a title when OKC went out. I loved that matchup for them.
When super fan says they were all wide open shots, they were all wide open shots.I thought the defense was fine. Make non-splash brothers beat them. They did. Gotta give credit to how well the Warriors played on d too.
