What's stupider, NBA officiating (just in general, what a ####### joke) or U-S-A chants when your one good player is from Greece and the team you're playing/taunting? has two guys who just won Gold for USA?  Asking for a friend.

The latter, but playing Giannis for 47 minutes might be stupider than both of them.

So, for some reason, my local ABC station is showing Green Acres instead of the playoff game.  And because its Sunday, I can't get any explanation. Anyone ever run into something like this?  I live in Southwest Missouri.  It makes no sense.  I'm forced to watch it on my laptop on firstrowsports.

I cut the cable a couple years ago and my CBS station is broadcast in Spanish.  All the commercials and studio shots are in English, only the actual game commentary is in Spanish.

I don't have a solution for you but I share your pain.

Dubs fan hoping we get the Clips but just can't root for them when they are on.  Really weird.  Am I alone?
I'm rooting for them because I want to see them get demolished after all the years of trash-talking, though I'm sure it won't change with Griffin being out giving them a built-in excuse.

Plus if they win the Warriors don't have to leave the west coast.

On the plus side, Arnold Ziffel is a better analyst than Mark Jackson.

Oh, no, I am definitely rooting for them.  Just feels dirty, not right when I'm watching the game.  Instinctively fist pumping when the Jazz make a play then have to remind myself I want the Clips.

Oh I see what you're saying now. Yes, it's definitely dirty rooting for the Paper Clips.

Another added bonus is by game 4 90% of the crowd would be wearing blue and yellow and raining down WAR-RI-ORS chants on Crybaby Doc and Co. while they whine about some imagined injustice. Hell, I may try to get tickets if I'm feeling particularly foolhardy with my money.

I think all abc games are free on watchespn

Also missing defending the 3 point line. Ton of open 3 attempts for Boston.
Yeah.  Part of that is Keiff, though.  He's a good defender on the perimeter and can defend the 5 when the other team goes smallball instead of letting them penetrate and kick out off pick and rolls non-stop. Wiz will be cooked against this Celts team if he's out.

ETA: or if they dont just bring in Marcus for the old identical twin switcheroo, which is the obvious move

Just go to Reddit.  Plenty of quality streams there.

He said he is definitely playing Game 2 but no telling how that ankle is going to feel tomorrow or the next day.

Al Horford has been playing great over this 5 game playoff win streak the Celtics have going. Just missed out on a triple double today while shooting 10 for 13 from the field.

Btw, I see what they're talking about with Isiah Thomas carrying the ball. He literally holds the ball from the underside for seconds at a time. I know everyone carries these days but what he's doing is far more egregious.

OK...heard he's probably 5'7
that's the general perception in Boston.

it's the hesitation move that's causing the objection, but i've watched it a few hundred times but it's no different than every point guard's first step of a drive. he just does it twice.

Odd how much more effective a hesitation move is when the defender thinks you have terminated your dribble and is stepping up to contest.

What are the odds that the Clippers bring back everyone and try one more run? They probably believe that the Griffin injury cost them and they would have upset the Warriors.

I'm glad the Clippers lost. It would have been nice to sweep them, but a Jazz series is much more entertaining to me.

Doc needs to be fired. While Blake is injury prone and cannot be counted on, Doc made terrible moves to fill around the Paul, Blake, and DJ.

If I'm the Clips, I would: (1) re-sign Blake to a max deal (with the intent to trade him after next season), (2) Shop DJ for picks/rookie contract players, and (3) Let CP3 walk in FA or agree to a sign and trade (not sure of the money makes sense for CP3 in a S&T). I think JJ is getting paid, so Clips have no leverage really and JJ isn't much of a trade chip with an expensive deal. Really the worst thing they can do is run it back again, unless Ballmer just wants to continue cashing in on a winning team with a few playoff home games each season.

The team really missed the window to extract maximum trade value on CP3 and Blake, but I can't fault them for running it back one more time.

In the end, #### the Clips!!!

Depends on the goal of Ballmer. If I were him, I would want to stay competitive and keep the sellout crowds going. I don't know how winning 50 games a year for the next 3 or 4 years could be considered "the worst thing they can do" even if it isn't necessarily a good way to get them into title contention. After decades of being an afterthought in LA, they are finally the team to watch there and the Lakers aren't turning it around very quickly. I would be very surprised if they don't make every effort to resign Paul and Griffin and at least consider resigning Redick.

I feel you, that's why I added the bolded part. I guess this off-season will show us Ballmer's priorities because this team is just a gate keeper team with no path to future success due to GM Doc.

However, if Ballmer really wants to dethrone Lakers in L.A. I don't think a bunch of 1st and 2nd round exits will do the trick.
