I want to agree, but LeBron isn't gonna see a drop in production until at least 35, that's just the way sports and medicine is these days, and also superteams (though there are only 2 right now, likely going to increase) aren't going away anytime soon, with the new CBA taking effect next season. An internally built team still can't beat a team of FA perennial all-stars.

Best comment so far was "Celtics # 3 pick from last year, Jaylen Brown, with a big game last night with 9 points"  :lmao:   I have not watched much of Jaylen, but this guy has an amazing polarizing effect on fans. I love the talk about how he should be in the ROY of the year conversation. Maybe he is legit, but can't deny a big night being 9 points is a little underwhelming

it is pretty sick that the SIxers will have Lakers 1st round pick, their own and Sacremento's next year.  Thank you Hinkie  :D

 
So that rumor from hoopsrumors gets a little more interesting now. If Fultz is one of the guys who didn't want to work out for the Celtics, do the Celtics look to trade out of the 1st pick. I mostly think the rumor is somewhat garbage but could be interesting

 
Lots of talk around L.A. about Jackson being a possibility. Anyone here think they'd pass up Fultz or Ball to take him?

Fultz is going to work out for the Celts and has been quoted that he thinks it would be a great fit.

Hopefully Ainge can convince Magic they are going to take Ball and get him to offer up something for a pick swap.

 
Celtics only real option is to trade here, right? IT just broke out this year, he not gonna go back to the bench. Bradley is too valuable on defense to not start. What the hell they gonna do?

on the surface this is what i am thinking. Will be an interesting off-season for them to see what they want to do, going from 1 to 3 is feasible with the Sixers having plenty of assets to make it worthwhile. Good test for Colangelo this year to see what he does. They aren't picking 4 friggin players in the 2nd round, so unless they want to store full teams overseas they need to do something

I think Bradley gets dealt...he is in the last year of his contract and will get big money...more than he would be worth for the Celts...I have a feeling they will make a decision between him and Smart and while I like Bradley I think Smart has a physicality that is unique and can be a weapon in the playoffs...I could see a package of Bradley and next year's Brooklyn pick bringing back something real nice...that being said absolutely nothing would surprise me this offseason...as I have said before I think this is the offseason the future starts to take shape and you get a better idea of what they will be going forward...

 
I think the Celts need a guy like bradley to make up for Isiah's defensive issues. I'm not sure how fultz projects there. I would think at some point it has to be fultz or IT.

Stinks.  This would've been a helluva game with the spurs up 1 and leonard healthy.   Outside of the celtics/wiz, the last round was terrible and this one is likely going to follow that path.  

 
Great gamble for the Celtics and Ainge. That pick is worth more this summer if they trade it.

I would still trade it, but you could probably send just that pick and Bradley and get who they want. Although I don't follow college basketball other than my Spartans. Can Fultz play the 2?

For all the folks on the GS train, I'll take the Cavs for $50 to win $200, you get the field.  Since the Dubs have 4 of the 5 best players it should be a no brainer.
