According to Oakley, he never said a word to Dolan and security kicked him out minutes after arriving.

He's been critical of the Knicks publicly in the past, so Dolan has never invited Oakley to anything team related. Oak had bought his own ticket to the game tonight.

The President of Basketball Ops is ripping the star player publicly, the team's most notable fan states that he'll "pack President of Basketball Op's bags," the Coach says he was told to expect daily distractions when he took the job ("and it's lived up to the billing"), and a former player is getting kicked out of home games while shoving the security guards around.

Its like a bad sports drama starring Kevin Costner.  You can't make this stuff up.

Cavs resting Lebron, Love and Kyrie tonight...JR and Shump still out.

Westbrook should try for 50-20-20 or something ridiculous.  He might not have to try.  Dressed for the Cavs will be Felder, Liggins, Korver, TT, Frye, RJ, McRae, and JJones.

And apparently they are signing Derrick Williams.  The guy people wanted over Kyrie in '11.

Jabari Parker - F - Bucks

Jabari Parker (knee) suffered a torn left ACL and will miss the rest of the season.
This is a terrible blow for the third-year forward. He worked extremely hard to overcome his left ACL tear from back in 2014 and was trending up as one of the best scoring power forwards in the NBA. Parker’s first ACL tear was in December of 2014, and he finally had his minutes restriction lifted in early December 2015. That suggests he’ll likely be limited for the first two months of next season. His season will end with averages of 20.1 points, 6.2 boards, 2.8 assists, 1.0 steals, 1.3 treys and 0.4 blocks on 49.0 percent from the field. Without him for this season, the Bucks may shift Khris Middleton to the three little more than expected while Malcolm Brogdon benefits. Michael Beasley and Mirza Teletovic will split the remaining power forward work, but neither are great adds in standard leagues. Giannis Antetokounmpo is going to have to take over more than ever.

Ilyasova  :X . He is funny, process haters love to talk about how great Colangelo is for picking him up. and he has helped, but man that dude just loves to throw the ball up all the time whether he is open or not

The coaches have said his style and approach has helped the entire roster. He is fearless when it comes to shooting. Or defense. Or going down low. Or setting screen and fighting through screens. Or... etc, etc, etc. And it rubbed off on almost everyone.

yeah i think he has helped overall too, but man you watch him sometimes and just cringe.

there are no bad sports dramas starring Kevin Costner

Oak banned from MSG

Thread title updated.
Not a big NBA fan anymore.  But it seems to me like this was a mid-card + type player saw an opportunity to be relevant when the franchise was at a low point.  Kind of like a Kmart version of Dickerson in LA.

He's C-list player that gets promoted to A-level status in NY because he was Ewing's (and Jordan's) enforcer.  He's a badass who the NY fans loved while Dolan is a person all  of NYC hates.  It's really the pinnacle of dysfunction in a franchise known for dysfunction.

Jokic went for 40/9/5 against Porzingas tonight. Ninth player ever to do that before his 22nd birthday (Towns also did it this year).

I wanted to support Oakley on this but when you are surrounded by families with kids and you are repeatedly yelling at the security guards "what the #### are you looking at?!", you are going to get booted out of the arena every single time.  Come on, man.

How's that popcorn tasting now? Holiday with only 25pts, 12 assists, 5 rebs, 5 steals on over 60% from the field tonight.   McConnell will be a very good pg  in the future--but those two are not in the same stratosphere this season.
lol I'm only joking about TJ. I'm a jrue fan as well. I'll be happy when he chooses to return to Philly next year.

ETA: as for the specifics pelicans I do hope they trade for okafor and I would love to see him be a 20-point, 8-10 board for you guys for the rest of his career.

Hell of a line from Draymond Green tonight. Triple double in boards/assists/steals. Just 6 points from a quadruple double

Could somebody do the ELI5 (explain like I'm five for non-redditors) this whole Knicks fiasco. Looks like a former player went nuts and is no longer welcome back. It appears from the videos he was the one causing problems?
I'm not sure if I have all of this right but I think Dolan (who is blamed for years of ineptitude) had Oakley thrown out possibly because he was talking #### about him during the game. Oakley got pissed when security came to take him out which was caught on video. Fans sided with Oakley and now hate Dolan that much more.

Michael Rapaport tells you all you need to know here. It's about 10 minutes, but it's awesome.

I hit a quadruple double once, in church league  :scared: , in points, rebounds, assist, and steals. That was over 20 years ago though.

Damn I'm getting old.

Any chance payback comes tonight? I'll be watching the Gamecocks @ 8pm but I will definitely be keeping an eye on this game. I think if the game gets out of hand #### could go down. I guess Pachulia has to play though.
