Top 5 in "Off-Court Intangibles"? Go!
Yes.Are they starting Roberson at SF and Sabonis at PF?
I know teams often hide their all offense no defense players in the second unit but that trio is taking that idea to the extreme. There is going to be a lot of scoring at the end of the 1st and 3rd quarters in Thunder games.Yes.![]()
I guess that means the Thunder have lots of bench scoring w/ Morrow, Ilyasova, and Kanter. All of which should get 20+ mins/game.
Getting back into Elite shape*.I don't think Derrick Rose has thrown a single pass tonight.
thats gd right brohan and now those off court intangderigables are all milwaukees bam take that to the bank bromigos2. Matthew Dellavedova
he takes charges because he is so slow that when a guy puts a double move on him he hasnt actually moved yet and gets runned over take that to the bank brohanPeople keep talking about Ilyasova like he's a no-defense player which is not true. Big fan of his when he was with the Pistons last year. He led the NBA in charges taken and always played hard on D. Physical limitations hurt him in some matchups but he's far from a liability at that end.
This twitter exchange made my night:PSA:
The Golden State Warriors blew a 3-1 series lead in The Finals.
When did we get a basketball board?I'm hoping everyone sticks with this thread, because the separate board sucks.
It's pretty much filled with individual team threads.Wait there's a basketball forum? I thought everybody was just kidding.
Already ordered my Sager shirt, btw. :flex:Homage to to Craig Sager.

Warriors will be fine, of course, but wow Zaza looks bad.I was actually worried the season would be boring to watch.
McGee might actually be needed during the season.
At least Varejao was in mid-season form. 2 minutes. 2 flops.Warriors will be fine, of course, but wow Zaza looks bad.
If options B and C are Varejao and McGee, I suspect interior defense will be a season long storyline. At least Varejao was in mid-season form. 2 minutes. 2 flops.
at McGee getting put on a poster on the last play of the game. Lakers fan growing up. I got ya.Capella said:Oh god this thread is going to get moved and Tim is going to find it over there and it's just going to be him talking about his 12 favorite players on the 1984 Lakers, ranked.

It seems the accounts that are offended by my following of all political demographics are SJW's. Any good SJW accounts out there? #oxymoron

Another funny Pop point from last night, he must know who Nate Duncan is now since he answewed Duncan's post game press conference question about what Khawi was doing differently/improvement in paragraph form in an intelligent manner. This may be the greatest tweet in NBA twitter history. In other news, I didn't realize how much I'd missed Pop until he was back in my life:

I hope Simmons works out. He might be what the Spurs were hoping Anderson would be this year.Glad to see Simmons had a good game. He looked really good at times last year. I wasn't sure why he didn't get more minutes down the stretch.
Anderson seems to be a big disappointment so far. Do you concur?I hope Simmons works out. He might be what the Spurs were hoping Anderson would be this year.
I agree. However, he is still only 23 years old so the jury is still out on him. He has the size and he plays with poise, but some times he is a little too slow. He doesnt really have a specialty, he just does everything average. All i ever heard was how he fits the Spurs roster so well, which I can see, but I dont think he will be any more than a role player getting 10-20 minutes per game off the bench.Anderson seems to be a big disappointment so far. Do you concur?
