A.  Davis with 50 pts - 16 reb  - 7 steals - 5 assists and the Pelicans fall to the Nuggets. Let the ESPN hype machine wind up on Davis which is typical - player hype over the team

Why would anybody hype the ####ing ####ty Pelicans over Anthony Davis? What is there to even talk about other than him? I can't even name another player on their team.

A. Hill

O. Asik

T. Frazier

Y. Mom

E. Moore

A. Ainjinca

T. Jones

L. Stephenson

That was most of the pelicans rotation tonight. I only made up one of those names. What is there to discuss. Welcome back to the NBA tonight, let's get into that heartwarming story of how A. Ainjinca helped lead the Pelicans to 28 wins this year.

Man.. is it just me or does Brandon Ingram look malnutritioned ?

Have to think by way cats play D on Harden they think dude is completely stoned?  Then he nonchalantly blows past them or hits a bucket??

D'angelo already YELLING "this is my house"..

Used to be my #1.  How can you top Jenna?  Unstoppable competitor, hot as hell, dumb as a box of rocks, knows she's dumb and her only attribute is her looks but someone makes it not conceited or #####y.  She's perfect.  @lumpy19 @john bender
Jenna will never win the belt without learning how to eat.  In her defense, her blowup with her cousin on Bloodlines about the family business (apparently a bakery) and the implication that Jenna's father has spent a non-trivial amount of time in prison is an underrated moment in Challenge history.

Sarah gave me her business card when I met her.  It listed her as "ARTIST - SPEAKER -TRIVIA EXPERT".

Rules.  And yes, she needs to work on her palate game if she wants to be champ, but her record in eliminations speaks for itself.

I've heard Kenny Santucci break it down like this: Challenge competitors who are assets are either best on Challenge Day, Elimination Night, or the Final.  The ones who are strong at Finals but weak in the other two need to get thrown into Elimination ASAP.  The people who are strong at Eliminations but weak at Finals make the best allies because they can knock out opponents but aren't threats when it's time to bank money.

Jenna is definitely an Eliminator.  Simple goal so don't have to remember or exploit complex rules or puzzles, her length and strength are usually difference makers.  But questionable endurance and no palette makes her a Final lay-up.

Did they change the flagrant foul rules?  A couple really weird ones assessed at the Talking Stick Resort Arena (no, I didn't make that name up) tonight.

Heat showing that the Big 3 were holding them back. Throw it down Whitesde...dude is gonna put up 20/15 a lot of nights. Makes it much easier on the rest of the team but then again it was a Vogel coached Orlando Magic...doubt they are gonna be a contender or the Heat.

What in the hell are your dorks talking about?

The Kings get to open their new arena on the second night of a back to back against the Spurs. Thanks, NBA!
Cousins did only play 25 minutes last night. Were they saving him for tonight or was he limited from something? Im sure the score had a little bit to do with it, but not that big of a reduction usually.

It was a combo of foul trouble and the score, I think.

i'd love to see Popovich get a hold of him and help him reach his full potential.

You shut your mouth.

Carry on guys. I love the challenges.

Oh and my favorite is still Cara Zavaleta.
Cara's Challenge BFF, Susie Meister, hosts a podcast with Sarah Rice-Patterson.  It's called "Brain Candy".  They try to cover a wide range of topics, but they almost always come around to discussing Challenge history and competitiors.  And Sarah is sometimes high AF when they record.

Are we trying to turn this thread into a Bill Simmons podcast?

It does seem like he has some issues. I love when players act dramatic. "Y'all saying the season is over!"  Find me one person - ONE - on planet earth that thinks anything like that st all.

Yup. Also a big fan of the "watch me put in extra work when 'nobody is watching' and yell about it at the top of my lungs!" bit.  Kobe Bryant already wore that shtick out, buddy.

He's probably not the saint he was portrayed as while in OKC, but most likely not the villain he's being pegged as with the move to GS.  We like to build people up and tear them down, happens in sports too.

Anything Durant does is going to be criticized regardless of what he does or doesnt do. I dont think he is the type of person who is going to be able to handle being the "villain" type of player. I could see it effecting his game at some point this year.
