To be fair, Nick Young isn't that entertaining.
Yeah, the Swaggy year pretty much put the tickets on the daily block. Also, when the they moved from the Inglewood to downtown season ticket holders were offered first dibs on upgrades. We were both making good money and living in LA so we upgraded a little beyond our current means. We pony up every year, but need to recoup some of the expense. Seats are behind the home hoop 10 rows from the floor, closer to the team bench than the bucket. If you see where Balmer sits at Clipper games, just count 10 rows up for a Laker game and there I be 20 or so nights a year.

Yeah...my boss has those same seats in MSG by the Knicks bench.  They're great seats for adults...for kids not so much since the incline is so low.

The funny thing about kids and my seats are we're on the aisle one very small section from the tunnel. So everyone across that aisle gets high fives and autographs, but the ushers fiercely defend those stairs. Kid tries to cross and the response is always swift and aggressive. He made my daughter cry once during pregame when she violated the rule. He was in the wrong, but I totally got it. At halftime he apologized and led her down to the court letting her take closeups of the team shooting. Big thumbs up to that guy.

Guy's been busting his butt this year. It's truly shocking. Even on defense. Maybe GS kept the wrong coach?  :oldunsure:
Nick Young being a reasonable two way player is far and away the most surprising development of the season so far.

They tied it. No new record though.

The '93 Hornets scored 75 in a half twice. Interesting that they also hold the franchise record for points in a game with 141, which wasn't one of the games with a 75 point half.

I'm telling you, Zeller is pretty solid. Him and Kemba run a nice little pick and roll, and have a general good chemistry together.

This rag tag group of bigs might actually have something going on.

I like Randle a lot.  He looks like he might have the kind of skills where he can be a big who can help facilitate the offense on the perimeter at some point.
i guess maybe you just did not notice but he is on the lakers so he stinks you can like him when he goes somewhere else tho thats fair take that to the bank brohan

I suspect the Warriors will pull away in the 4th quarter but they've looked very vulnerable in the 3rd tonight.

Steph Curry made sure of it.  Bounced back from making 0 threes against the Lakers on Friday to making 13 tonight and setting the NBA single game record.  Draymond also played AD really well in the 4th.

I've watched entirely too much of Okafor from high school highlights to Duke to Philly now...those two moves he put of Gobert last night, were hands down the two best moves to the basket I've ever seen him make.  Granted it was in blowout minutes, etc, but it's pretty evident with the dropped weight and better knee, he's a tad quicker and has improved his hops as well.  He still blows on defense, but there aren't that many guys in the NBA that are do that to Gobert.

Please return to the Steph talk now.

Those guys are very solid rotation players but not top 100 guys and probably won't be. I'd rather take my chances keeping George in free agency rather than getting guys who don't have potential to move the needle. Another team can and would do way better than that; Boston could/should consider giving at least one and probably Brooklyn picks, for example.

Edit: Denver could put together a decent package with some of their nice future assets, like Murray, their current first, and the future Grizzlies pick, but they aren't going to get George for a couple of expendable dudes.
helloexactly

Randle and Green have such different games though. Not sure why you are trying to fit them into the same category. There are at least a half dozen of other players in the league that do a Draymond Jr impression far better than Randle.
Not really.  Their games are extremely similar.  Both have a tremendous amount of man-strength that allows them to guard 5s and let their teams play small ball.  But also enough quickness and agility to switch onto 2s and 3s and not get annihilated.  Those traits make them fairly unique, although there are some other undersized 4s on the league who can also guard 5s and 3s occasionally as well.

On the offensive end, both are excellent ball handlers for their size.  LeBron is probably the only other guy with their size and strength who also has really good handles.

Draymond is definitely a better shooter - it's obviously not even close.  That's the area Randle has to (and is) working on to go from a 20 year old rookie averaging a double double to a full fledged multi dimensional piece who is a regular All Star like Draymond.  Not sure he'll ever get there, but I sure hope so.

Yeah...no, Green sees the game on an entirely different level...Randle still goes for the straightforward pass while Green can process the entire movement of the offense and defense.  Green's closer to LeBron in this respect than Randle is to Green.

Agree that Green has superior vision.  I think Randle is the better ball handler.

Anthony Davis is decent at basketball.

Though I will say it's pretty comical the lengths he goes to avoid guarding Cousins when they play the Kings. Pelicans dusted Asik off for 26 minutes to guard Cousins despite the fact that he was getting abused. The last couple years the Pelicans have thrown Ryan Anderson (!) at Cousins for big minutes.

Absolutely thrashed the Magic tonight.

I don't think that 2019 final is going to happen, at least for one team.
I'm so done with the Orlando Magic. I'd like to say I'm having a bad week and just lashing out but I'm done.

#### they suck. Ibaka sucks, Biyombo sucks, everyone sucks not named Vucevic and Gordon.

They suck. I need a 2nd team to adopt.

I deserve better.

He doesn't suck. He just needs to be in the absolute perfect environment for his incredibly limited skill set to be useful. Wait, that might mean he sucks and is incredibly overpaid.

Sure the league as a whole has been great in reacting to Trump, but it would be nice if the Wizards could also provide me with a welcome distraction from the real world instead of being an every-other-day ####show.

This years team is crap even by Wizards' standards.  Is it worth it if they're bad enough to finally get Grunfeld sacked?

Lakers with win #5. They didn't hit 5 wins until Dec 22 last year. Guys playing hard, it's a real revelation. Julius Randle, 5 assists. #justlikedraymond
