According to my wife, it makes the dress shirt fit and look better - a white underlayer is better than a pale pink underlayer for the look of the shirt, makes the color look more crisp. A coworker asked me what had changed in my wardrobe, I told him it was T-shirts, he said it was an improvement... I'm not sure in what way.Why though? Is it a sweat issue? I just don't get why people wear them.
This isn't any revolutionary life-changing thing - it improved my appearance by 1%. I wouldn't wear them for that reason, but I like how they feel in the winter.
ETA: Not a sweat thing - I don't have problems with that at all.
