Yea I'm curious. There is a rule where you can't have a foreign substance on your pitching hand. But I don't know the exact wording. Who determines whether something (i.e., blood) is a foreign substance?Trying to prevent him from bleeding out and dying in front of 50,000 people?
Otherwise, there's got to be something about uncontrolled bleeding, much like a guy has to leave a hockey/basketball game with blood.
Francona didn't seem to protest much.
Did this announcer just say Bautista has a great arm?
