2017-18 NBA (Playoffs): A gasping, wheezing thread begs message board poster arguing how Jordan never lost a Finals to just let it die in peace (2 Viewers)

Well, he is wrong.  It is so, so bad right now.  Not even the remotely slightest hint of what constitutes a foul and what constitutes not being a foul.  Zero consistency in any of it.  Both ways.  Both teams are getting hosed on a regular basis.

If you are saying that the refs are the best they have ever been because they screw up equally both ways, then I guess ya got me there.
Doubling down on a being wrong, bold strategy. Let's see how it works out for you.

Have to say calling these games in real time is crazy hard considering the speed of these athletes. Now in a 6th grade travel game I'm not giving you that kind of slack but in the pros they get it, not an easy gig.
So you're the parent screaming at the 14 year old reffing your kid'\s games, got it.  Typical Boston fan.

The looked at it with science and stuff and they get like 94% right or something.  I assume this doesn't take travelling into account.
Well sure, when 90% of the plays are obvious to Ray Charles, sure.  If Lebron throws a cross court pass that sails high into the 15th row, not sure that kind of call should get factored into the percentages.

Then again, I thought it was obvious that Morris should not have had an offensive foul called on him last game on that 3.  One of the worst calls I have every seen considering how infrequent that ever gets called, coupled with the fact he obviously did not kick his leg out.

It's just really, really bad right now.  Use whatever hand picked stats you want, it's silly to try and justify that things are ok.

They could start by calling it the same way all season rather than changing the way they officiate the game during the playoffs.

Side note, jesus I cant wait until they stop allowing guys to just wrap players up on fast breaks.  I bet that gets changed for next year.

Tatum is so impressive.  I can't believe how mature his game is already.  I mean he already whines about every call like a veteran, you don't often see that from a rookie.

He just started that this series, which makes it more amazing that he is getting better during the playoffs of his rookie year!

Is this going to be the worst 7 game series of all time? It goes 7 so in 10 years everyone will think it was a good series, but really the home team really hasn't had to sweat yet.

Not sure what it is but Celts and Cavs play night and day away and home.

Still feels like this goes 7 but I like the odds...
