Lebrun vs Curray?
Who would want to watch that?Meh. The offenses are bogged down because of how much contact is being allowed. These teams could be shooting 50 FTs a game each, but it isn't being officiated that way.
Well, nobody. But the defenses would adjust and the offenses would open up. Just like the regular season, which is fun to watch. This playoff series has been like watching Knicks-Heat in the late 90s.Who would want to watch that?

okay. Bummer. I'm pulling for GS here, but I'd rather lose to a full strength Houston team than beat them at less than full strength.Chris Paul out for game 6.
hmm, he was just on this podcast: invest with the best. It's 66 mins. Have listened to about half.Sam Hinkie hired by the Broncos: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2777915-sam-hinkie-reportedly-works-with-broncos-as-analytics-consultant
would have liked to see him come home, but will be fun to see what he does in Denver
The last 2 games have been sloppy, but please tell us in a stochastic way how long it would take the Heat or Knicks to score 120 in a game. I will set the over/under at triple overtime.Sorry if you have difficulty with stochastic thinking.
Iguodala's absence has really hurt GS too. People continue to underestimate his impact. The opposite of your post should also hold true.Bummer. I'm pulling for GS here, but I'd rather lose to a full strength Houston team than beat them at less than full strength.
When I saw that live, it looked like he was looking to kick the ball out to the perimeter almost by default. I think the team was trying to alert him that he had a clear path to the rim if he just turned around.
When you have 4 All Stars, 2 of which are All NBA.....no one is gonna feel bad for losing your 6th man.Iguodala's absence has really hurt GS too. People continue to underestimate his impact. The opposite of your post should also hold true.

Iggy is definitely more important than even I realized. I always felt he overpassed, but you really notice it now.

Have to agree with Charlie here. While Iggy is important to what GS does, his loss is a lot more easily replaceable by bench guys (more easily, not easily) than what Paul does for Houston.
He is a finals MVP. Averaged 16 PPG while holding Lebron to only 36/13/9.He is a finals MVP.
We aren't talking about LeBron. Thanks for sharing though.Averaged 16 PPG while holding Lebron to only 36/13/9.

Totally missing the point. It's easy to see GS winning one or both of the last two games with a healthy Iggy. At which point, Paul's injury could have been moot. Nobody here is saying Iggy is as much of a loss to GS as Paul is to Houston.Bull Dozier said:Have to agree with Charlie here. That is incredibly tempting...i felt dirty enough betting on Boston the other night, but man taking a bite on them here isn't too bad of an idea:
To win the championship
Golden State Warriors -140
Houston Rockets +180
Boston Celtics +800
Cleveland Cavaliers +1000
Then maybe you're missing my point. This whole back and forth started with me saying too bad Paul is hurt, I'd rather see each team at full strength. While losing Iggy is a loss, it certainly doesn't take GS out of contention for this series, nor can GS look back and say "what were we going to do, we lost Iggy so we really can't compete with Houston?" No, of course they can't say that.Totally missing the point. It's easy to see GS winning one or both of the last two games with a healthy Iggy. At which point, Paul's injury could have been moot. Fair enough. If there is a game 7, I hope Paul is healthy. If there isn't one, more power to Houston. Then maybe you're missing my point. While it is possible for Houston to win one of the last two games, their chances take a lot bigger hit in the series with Paul out.

so the drop off from Chris Paul to Eric Gordon in this series is astronomical?WTF are you talking about? Paul has averaged 34.5 mpg in these playoffs while Gordon has averaged 31.7. Against GS, Gordon has averaged more than 33 mpg.so the drop off from Chris Paul to Eric Gordon in this series is astronomical?

He is not a replacement for Paul. He has mostly been playing with Paul.
Paul is a HOF player. He is the second best player on the team. Iggy is neither of those things. It is a much bigger loss for Houston. It isn’t comparable. If you think it is, take off yourglasses.

Who are the geniuses in the Cavs promotional department that decided to give away white T-shirts when the Celtics are wearing white?
One important detail missed from the White Out mastered by the Heat... somebody said he plays like he's trying out for his varsity high school teamKinda love watching Marcus Smart.
If this first half was the tryout he’d be running with JV.somebody said he plays like he's trying out for his varsity high school team
What exactly is he doing wrong? Stevens doesn't care about his offense. If this first half was the tryout he’d be running with JV.
Cs about to go on a run coming out of this TO though.
