Everyone has their own opinion. I thought Paul mocking Curry was kind of stupid, but I thought the same thing when T.O. mocked Ray Lewis and when others do it too. I find LeBron just as annoying as Durant and a lot of the others. I find Paul to be the most annoying, and Green is as you put it more of a goon then annoying.
Hadn’t really watched much of Paul, I’m not a big NBA guy but get into it playoff time. Stinks we probably won’t see him at full strength rest of the way.

Yeah that does stink. Even though I dislike Paul he is a great player and was a huge key to the Rockets getting this 3 - 2 lead. My prediction is that he won't be back even if they beat the Warriors. Just the look on his face as they were leaving the court after game 5, he knows his body well enough and has had enough injuries in his career. His body language just looked like "Damn, we are this close and now this is going to happen"

Oh , they are so incredibly unlikable.  I actually dislike Curry and Durant WAY more than Draymond. Green is obviously a super doosh, but at least he's honest about it. You know what you're getting. Curry is just intolerable with the mouthpiece and all the pointing to the sky and the shimmy.  And of course, Durant is just a thin-skinned millennial who somehow can't understand why everyone doesn't bow at his feet just because he got over the hump and won a title by joining a 73 win team (which he would have beaten by himself if not for a massive choke job). Guy makes 26 million a year + endorsements and still feels the need to defend himself with fake twitter accounts.  INCREDIBLE talent but a total snowflake.
I don't understand this perspective. I've joked about Curry's mouthpiece almost as much as I've joked about Celtic fans being racist, but holy crap that's not real world stuff. Durant doing that weird internet alias was odd too, but who here hasn't enjoyed alias shtick from time to time? My opinion is that there is no way a stable human would let those things form an opinion of some awesome basketball players. I love to see Curry and Durant play basketball, if you spend your time hating them you will cheat yourself. And who doesn't want to see Draymond Green knock Charles Barkley's chubby ### out?

We know you have but fair to say most don’t I would think.

2008 all over again for LeBron.  Game 7 at Boston with no other all stars on the team.  Just like in 2008 the home teams have won every game.

LeBron scored 45 in 2008 in game 7 at Boston and Cavs still lost 97-92.

Would take a minor miracle for Cavs to win game 7 at Boston even before Love was ruled out.

smart move by Lebron forcing Love to fake an injury so he that he misses game 7. that way when Cleveland loses everyone can blame Love instead of Lebron.

guy is always thinking 9 steps ahead

Keep propping it up as a minor miracle you gonna give the NBA ideas. Just think of the headlines, "Bron pulls off miracle on road in Game 7. Jesus Christ plays basketball."

He is 5th if you want to measure them as a basketball player. This is a team setting though and that makes it difficult.

Defensively I would rank him 2nd behind Green, offensively he is 4th just ahead of Green. How to rank him in regards to what the Warriors do as a team, I really don't know, but I think it is pretty obvious how valuable he is to this team.

This is coming from a person that thought they should let Iggy go last off season so they wouild have money for Klay in the near future and maybe a younger version of Iggy.

They’re a 2-Point dog. Lmao at “minor miracle”

When 2 of your players are top 5 players in the league (when healthy), that's not really an issue.
It is an issue in the playoffs because your weakest defender gets bum hunted every single play.  That marginal difference of the "5th ranked" players can easily offset the marginal difference of everyone else on the floor.

McCaw is active for the first time since March. The Warriors are so desperate for wing help I bet he plays tonight.
After the way he fell and writhed in pain, I'm happy he's active again this year. Last year when Iggy was hurt in the conference finals McCaw stepped in and scored 18 with a handful of assists and steals. He was solid. The Warriors rolled over the Spurs 130 - 100.

Color me shocked that you would see a play that LeBron fell to the ground like an 18 wheeler hit him at 70 mph and you wonder where the foul is.
well, he did get fouled.  He also flopped.

He kinda has to sometimes when a 125 pound guy fouls him in order to get the call.

In that 5 second video it looks like LeBron started to cut, Rozier tried to anticipate and steal a pass and they both got to the same spot at the same time. I prefer a no call there compared the ref guessing and calling a foul on either player when it isn't obvious who got there 1st.

That seems to be the opinion from people who don't understand much about basketball.
totally agree here. It is the same people who are 100% certain that Donovan Mitchell should be ROY. The game is more then just points, and it seems that people get caught up wtih over-simplifying things too much. That stat with Iggy really highlights that point, and suggesting Iggy is the 5th best player on that team seems short-sighted. If Iggy was 100% and say Klay was out, do we still think the Warriors would be down in the series? i don't know, but if Andre can hold CP3 and Harden like his past stats against them suggest, there certainly seems to be a case

ETA: and i know most will read this as i am saying Simmons is 100% ROY. I think both have had quality seasons and i would be shocked if the votes aren't split. I think SImmons will squeak it out, but won't be shocked if Mitchell gets it.

@msudaisy26  What’s your opinion on Jaren Jackson Jr.’s pro potention?
He fits the NBA mold, but I think he needs the right coach and style to succeed.

He could easily bust, but this season at MSU was weird. I have never seen a player with that much talent not dominate, even as a freshman.

I am not sure if Izzo didn't use him properly or if the kid is just one of those players that will drive you nuts because one minute he looks like an MVP and the next he looks like he should be in the G league.

Celtics fans really need to stop this. The entire playoffs you have the Celtics getting some favorable calls and embellishing when they can. You had the usual suspects to start like Smart, etc., but man has that whole team picked their entire game up. Jayson Tatum plays the role like a wily veteran multiple times a game.

Sure Lebron has some gamemanship to him, but for F sake the dude knows he has to score 45 points a game for his team to have a chance. I think he gets a break or 2, particularly when there are times where he seems like the only player on the Cavs team that can play

ETA: i know there are some from this year's playoffs, but this clip was pretty entertaining from 1 game:   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kh52PLCEVxY

Yes. I only watched him a handful of times but I got the same feeling. Stats kind of show the same.  For a presumably top 5 pick, he’s certainly an enigma.

I lean towards Izzo not using him properly, but I am a glass half full person and don't want to see Jackson fail.

I can dislike them as people (just based on what we see of their on court/public personas) while still being in awe of what they can do as players.

Was their biggest advantage yesterday. 15 to 5 offensive rebounds. That's huge.
Nance was very good yesterday.  Probably his best game as a Cav.  If he could do that with the 20 minutes he'll get and Thompson and Green can perform their best too, then they should keep the rebounding edge still.  Gonna need Hill, JR, and Korver to get going though or else James might have to go for 60 for them to score enough to win.

Top of the draft is really interesting this year. Ayton seems like a lock to the Suns but who knows what will happen after that. Kings and Hawks aren’t exceptionally high on Doncic. Maybe another team trades up to get him? Hawks apparently like Jackson at 3. Porter’s back is a big question mark. Will teams think Bagley’s success in college will translate? In the past a big man like Bamba would certainly go very early but with so many teams playing small, who knows. Young’s NBA success could range from Stephen Curry’s to Jimmer Fredette’s.

Wow, the only guy you have in the right spot is Klay.  That's impressive.
so you have the official numbers, cool. Who are the top 5 players on the Sixers.....go. and mind you i stated the entire message i don't follow the Warriors as much so i really don't know. Man people get chippy in  this thread, so weird
