That would be pretty hilarious if Lebron went to Boston.....Kyrie has to demand an instant trade or be part of a S&T to get Lebron.  Lebron with the ultimate one-up.

If Bron decides to leave here then Boston would be a pretty hilarious place for him to go.

Does Kyrie demand a trade again?  Even if he doesn't they should still trade him straight up for someone good or look into the Anthony Davis sweepstakes and see what that would take.

I do have to imagine he is getting sick of playing with a bunch of average players and a very below average coach.

OddsShark has HOU as the favorite to get LBJ as of yesterday . . .

Houston Rockets +150
Philadelphia 76ers +300
Cleveland Cavaliers +350
Los Angeles Lakers +400
Golden State Warriors +1600
Los Angeles Clippers +2500
Miami Heat +2500
nice, I need to get an acct. there. Honestly feel Philly at +300 is a very good bet. I know the odds have changed with the organization being a #### show with the current GM, but I can't see that dragging out past this week

Traitor Danny wouldnt sign LeBrohan if he agreed to a ten-yr, twelve-cent contract. Too much of his, and Boston's, identity has been wrapped up in trying to beat him

That's kind of the point.  Derrrrrr
You can't be that naive. We have a ton of people in here that are extremely knowledgeble about the NBA. Some of them are LeBron haters, some are LeBron apologists and everything in between. If anyone had a clue what you were asking they would give an example even if it was the biggest reach of all time. Be better during the game tonight.

Danny would get rid of what's left of his heart and trade Hayward in a instant if LeBron had interest in Boston.

Asked my wife if she wanted to go to the game tonight.  She said "only if we get good seats".  Two seats near center court lower level with all fees, about $8,700.

Thinking we probably just watch the game on TV at a friends house and spend 15 bucks on beer.

Michael Jordan was notorious for kicking his teammates asses and for challenging them.  Watch a game from the 90's and youll see Jordan get in the face of any one who effed up in some stupid way, and this includes Pippen who Jordan rode hard and put away wet on multiple occasions.
He basically bullied the piss out of Kwame Brown too.

I would never pay that much to see anyone play, but it does seem kind of on the low side to see 1 of the last 2 (possibly 3, but unlikely) home games LeBron will ever have as a Cavalier. Especially considering it is lower bowl and center court.

I'm guessing we will see 8% effort tonight from the Warriors.
That crap is so stupid, in a regular season game I get it. This is the playoffs though, they are giving full effort every game and let's be honest the Warriors aren't as good as they have been in the past. I don't know if they are tired from all those post season games the last 4 years, maybe there is some injuries, maybe they are bored, or maybe they played out of their mind last few years and are coming back to earth. I would bet money that if the Warriors played like this last year the Cavs would have beat them in the finals, and if they played like this in 15 they would have lost to the Thunder in 5 or 6.

I wasn't being serious. I was poking fun at someone who said something similar during game one. Definitely see some burnout on the Warrior side of things...Which makes LeBron's 8 straight finals that much more impressive. Same thing happened to Miami in LeBron's last year.

I agree with that, but it is easier to motivate when you go from one group of guys going to the finals for 4 years then take a new group. Still unbelievable.

True, he said we but Larry put up 30 points and nobody else on the team scored more than 16. While he said we, it was widely interpreted as him calling out his teammates.
I know the history. It wasn't really about the points he or anyone else scored. The context of his statement was that the Lakers were playing Showtime basketball, high fiving, etc., and the Celtics were "sissies" for not putting a stop to that. It was about stopping Showtime, not about scoring for the Celtics.

That said, what you are suggesting here is that this is a semantics issue, and I agree.

What exactly are you talking about?

Weebs said he expect 8 percent effort tonight from the Warriors. This was my reply, I remember a few posters saying that the Warriors didn't give full effort in some of the playoff games earlier this postseason, especially game 3 of the Pelicans series.

Yes, that was me.  The Warriors could have swept the Pelicans if they wanted.

Maybe i'm wrong - Boston media is vibrating like a cokewhore @ dawn over the possibility of hosting the Kang in a green uni.

Apparently (according to Big Windy), LeBrohan's contract differs from others in two ways - his FA season begins immediately upon completion of this season if he so chooses to shop himself AND he can opt-in to a $37.5mil final contract season and demand to be traded, with Cle contractually-bound to comply.

Boston talking heads are not only unanimously bending over and patriotically waving their hoohas at the prospect but say that sending Kyrie back to Cle will be approximately enough to achieve this. Oy.

Welcome to reality.

the city may burn if any of this is true. i do think it will impact the finances of the team. lot of people will be disgusted by this. ticket sales will be final, but merch and stuff i am guessing will take a hit.

and honestly Colangelo would have to run the team from another state. owners better not show up to any games as well.
Let's be honest, if he is fired you guys will light the city up in celebration.

One less game of wear and tear, one less game of a possible injury, giving an inferior team hope. Obviously it didn't go that way this time, but there is no reason to just give up a game and give a guy like Anthony Davis and a dangerous team some confidence.

The Warriors never trailed and won game 4 by 26 points.  Is that the type of hope you are worried about?

I guess you missed the part where I said obviously it didn't go that way this time, and ignored the injury and fatigue factors. I am not worried, but to act like they didn't try is foolish. They did try, they just didn't have that day, no big deal it happens to everyone.

no way you can put any blame on Lebron. this year I think he is in the same category as Barry Sanders. a great talent, with a sub-average team. the weight of the whole organization is on his shoulders every single F'n game. guy has to give his all, every single game, to keep the team in games. I don't know if any of us know what it is like to have to do this over and over, when you know your window is not as large as it was when he was younger. he is basically pissing away a year of his career this year.

the whole rah rah stuff is great for high school sports, and thankfully I have missed the last few pages of this thread to see this argued ad nauseum, but the guy can not be blamed when he literally gives his all and his team can not provide at least average back.
I'm not sure how he is pissing away a year of his career this year.  He's in the NBA finals.  That is an accomplishment.

I haven't, and will not put the blame of them losing on Lebron.  He has carried them.  All I've said is that he is part of the reason they are in such a tight cap situation and unable to be better, and also I did not think the way he handled that 3 minutes before OT showed great leadership, nor did it put his team in the best position to win.  If you want to say "he's done enough, he owes them nothing, he doesn't need to lift them up", then that's fine.  But I think the greatests would find a way to overcome that frustration... he lets it get to his head far too often.

Sooooooo, which player would be doing better right now?

And no, I am NOT saying he is the best leader in NBA history.  Maybe he is, maybe he isn't, we have no way to really know.  I am saying in this EXACT position right now, I think he has this team playing better than any other one player ever would have them playing.

If you disagree, just tell me the player who you could swap in who would have the Cavs playing better right now.
I'll answer you.

Doing better at what?  Motivating his team?  I'm sure there are a few.

In his EXACT position right now?  I think MJ is the ONLY player in NBA history I'd take over him on this team.  Lebron's talent is off the charts and I don't think any other player besides MJ would have even been within 10 points of the Warriors in game 1.  I'm saying that his whining, body language, selfishness on the sideline during those 3 minutes was very poor.  He could have acted differently and I think the team would have responded better.  Would they have won?  Probably not.... but he looked totally deflated and you could see some of his teammates did too.  I think they look to him for motivation since their coach is incompetent at it.

And your final question, I would swap MJ in.  He's the only player I'd consider.  And I don't have an issue with how he has the Cavs playing these playoffs.  I agree with you that it's impressive.  I have an issue with his pouting and leadership when things go wrong.
