Just want to thank Trader Danny for my fifth consecutive excruciatingly anti-climactic draft/trade-deadline as a Celts fan. He can make it up to me though if he trades Jaylen 'Trumphands' Brown for the Bulls' 2020, 2021 & 2022 1st-rounders and the $15mil trade exception.

Congrats to the Great White North for the Butler trade. Funniest thing is that Minny's pick @ 1.16 will have twice the pro career Chicago's 1.07, Heidi Herringbone or whatever his name is, will. You still have the worst great basketball player in NBA history and i'm not sure the new game hasnt passed Thibs by, but good to see KAT get a realdeal baller on his side.

Nobody needs a 2nd-round pick for a rebuild. Most of this year's 2nd-rounders will be out of the league before the Bulls are competitive again.

What sparked this discussion is why the rebuilding Bulls would sell their second round pick. Surely they don't need the cash that badly (or do they?). Bell would be like the fifth best player on their team.

They can't possibly need the cash and don't need the roster or cap space either. Agree it seems dumb.

Warriors had Bell as high as a mid-1st round pick.  I love the pick, Bell was a monster in the tourney for Oregon.
