Don't get me wrong I think OKC came out smelling like a rose in this deal, and Indy got left holding a bag of doody. WTF was Indy thinking that they would give up George, and take on Oladipo's crap contract? Why not just wait a few weeks? Why not just use George this year? Wrong move Indy, but thank you.
Comparing Belichick to Ainge is insulting to anyone in Bill's family. Bill does incredible things, Ainge has done some good things, but really most of what he did what rip off an idiot of an owner and GM a few years ago. Ainge hasn't won anything as a GM.

I don't think they are dependent on winning the lottery...that being said I feel pretty confident the Nets pick will be top 5 and that Lakers/Kings pick will yield a nice pick as well...Healthy isn't dependent upon winning a lottery
i think the IT deal was a given when they traded the 1st to Philly, but i disagree that adding Taytum and Hayward help them much at all. It almost seems like adding Hayward at this point would be a waste of money. You either have to go in for a championship or plan for the future. Ainge seems to be doing neither, or more specifically doing both at 75%

I don't think so. Oladipo is not good and is owed a ton of money. If they could've traded him for nothing it would have been worth it. Sabonis is really bad too.
I mean, if you're still high on Oladipo like some are (Zach Lowe, for example), I can see wanting him over Crowder and a couple crappy picks. But I have been down on Oladipo since he was drafted.

i think the rumour a few years ago was Sixers giving up Noel and like 2 high 1sts round picks for some crap from Boston. that report was from Ainge or Boston mgmt at that time too. So yeah, if i had to guess, i would think this is a possibility to consider
