2017 College Football Thread: Hawaiian QB devastated to find out Jesus was "kinda rooting for Georgia" (1 Viewer)

The only reason I'm still watching this is for the verbal clemson fellatio. A few more words and I'll be all the way there.

Fantasy College Football Alert:  Johnny Johnson III - WR - OR

This new era is going to be awrsome.
Defense still has a ways to go but I like the energy level and guys are flying up and hitting people hard.  Don't think Helfrich would have kept Freeman in for his 4th TD.   He may have some monster stats this year if he stays healthy.

Really hope that Francois injury isn't serious.  Florida State's defense looks great.  Would hate to see their season ruined by an injury.

Stupid autocorrect.

Going to bet it all vs Neb next week.
Don't jinx them now!  I am flying up and will be going to the game.  First game in Eugene for me in about 5 years.  Can't wait.

I can't stress how happy I get when I see that there's a game starting at 10:30 PM.  Luke Falk 20/20 in the first half for Wazzou.

I don't know if anyone is watching this LSU/BYU game, but Allison Williams just did the most amazing Ed Orgeron impression.

Let's not get into a "my school raped less chicks than your school" competition.  No one wins.  Not even Bryn Mawr College.

I'm still trying to put Maryland's win yesterday in context, knowing that there's no real national implications.

On the one hand, Texas may well turn out to be hot garbage this year and it'll end up being pone mediocre-or-worse team having beaten another mediocre-or-worse team. The Terps' B1G schedule is brutal and they could very well end up at 4-8 or 5-7.

On the other, Maryland hasn't beaten a ranked team (paper tiger or not) in forever, much less one on the road and in as storied a place as UT's building with all of the excitement of a hot, new regime.

Bama-FSU was the single greatest bonanza of a## I've ever witnessed. And the way they dress now...   :tebow:

In spite of some bad team management on my part, my first rounder Royce f'ing Freeman comes through late to take the win for two time and defending champ Procrastination U!!  I need to find some WR help in a bad way, though.

Homer pick and small sample size but, based on yesterday, MD's DJ Moore might be worth a flyer.

I actually double checked but MD isn't in our player pool, unfortunately.  Every year we do Athlon's top 25 + all 12 owners add 1 team + commish adds 3 more = 40 team pool. It makes it deep enough for 12 teams, but not an overly deep pool like an All FBS or all power 5 league would be.

I hope for FSU's sake that last night doesn't derail their season. I was at the Clemson / Bama opener at the dome in '09 or so -- we came in top 10 with Spiller back and everyone was excited. Mark Ingram and freshman Julio Jones thrashed us and we never recovered. Bowden was fired that season.  FSU is far more talented than that Clemson team, but I think a 3 loss season would be a disappointment and that's maybe in the cards If Francois' injury is as serious as it looks.

I thought FSU's defense looked fine, for the most part. It's hard to put a grade on the offense, as they were up against Bama's "we'll throttle you slowly like a boa constrictor" demon-spawn-from-hell defense.

I know these players are young, but there were some bad-### men out there last night on both teams. Watching the earlier games (even good teams like UM/UF), it's just amazing how much bigger/faster/stronger the Bama/FSU players were across the board.

Backup QB is the weakest spot on the team. The new guy is a 3-star who wasn't even an early enroll so he only had fall camp. The defense and running game are good enough to beat most teams, but I think the playoffs are out of the question.

Blows to have the playoffs off the table in September in back to back years.

That's not what I was attempting to do at all.  I think Baylor is a whole other kettle of fish when it comes to school behavior. It wasn't just players being rapey but the victim blaming by coaches and the administration.  Just disgusting, so I was taking great delight in their loss to Liberty.

Have no idea what Dr. Grouch was trying to do or allude to since his link was to a Maryland football player. Guessing it was cocktail hour over there.

:lmao:

Joe Mixon knocked out a woman on tape and kept playing and you defended it you hypocrite :lmao:

AND Dede Westbrook tossed a woman down stairs and was a-ok to play. Do you think people don't have the internet or something?
You're the guy who keeps on yapping about this stuff while your school covered up rapes. Come on. :lmao:

Also link to where I ever once defended Joe Mixon. Now you're just full of ####.
