kind of has to be. Nice oversight NBA, keep up the good work SilverSo did LeBron make the Cavs trade for Nance and Clarkson just to get them out of LA?

Depends how seriously he takes the regular seasonWhat’s a 35 win LA team do when they bring everyone back and add Lebron? How many wins is Lebron worth?
Trainwreck 2 now in production.I don't see why every one is so mad at LeBron. The guy has played more minutes than anyone the last 10 years. I don't see why it so bad if he takes a June off, maybe even a May.
There's no coasting through the regular season in the West.Depends how seriously he takes the regular season
Yup...it’ll be interesting to see what they do with Randle now. They still have a couple of moves to make, but they should be a 45-50 win team.Depends how seriously he takes the regular season
I dont think it has really been coasting. It's been pacing himself. And if history is any indication the first 2-3 months will probably be more bad than good no matter what. There's no coasting through the regular season in the West.
Can Deng still play at all?I know you are just speculating, but I know that won't happen. They aren't taking Deng.
You don't want any part of Orlando next year.https://twitter.com/MarcJSpearsESPN/status/1013599924510789632?s=19
Pretty much playing chess while everyone else is playing checkers.
East wide-open imoYou don't want any part of Orlando next year.
I agree with @Insein too though. I met no disrespect just more so kind of smiling given some of the Sixers fans I've come across including friends who thought Lebron was guaranteed to Philly and all the BS I heard for yrs. As well as some of the behavior directed to me by some fans. This was the part I kept telling people don't get your hopes up on. You may think with the young team ad all Lebron goes there but fans always tend to overvalue their players or what they have over what others think. Plus like I said my gut feeling all along was George and James weren't gonna chose the Sixers over some other options. More surprised at what option though PG took that didn't involve Lebron. I know I'll take my lumps being a Bulls fan in Philly no matter what but some of the stuff I was receiving from people when discussing the Sixers in general without hate just an opinion was over the line. Simple trying to have a discussion and people thought I slept with their mom or sister and knocked them up.lol, ok DJackson i think you have said enough. One, i am the only one butt-hurt here, not the rest of the Sixers fan. This ###-Clown cost me money because he defied rational thought and any reasonable basketball IQ. And in all honesty, NBA fans in general should be a little dissapointed in not being able to see some great 76er-Celtics games in the playoffs and the growth of a promising young team.
I do think @Insein is right that last year just beat him down and he signed a 4 year contract to coast into retirement.
https://twitter.com/kingjosiah54/status/1013582876271493121?s=21Current Laker players should withhold their tweets until the dust settles ....
Just next year???You don't want any part of Orlando next year.
Dan with the last laugh....that would be pretty funny. Can't wait until the Cavs draft Bronny and don't resign LeBron.
Laker were 21-20 in the second half. 50-55 is more like it.Yup...it’ll be interesting to see what they do with Randle now. They still have a couple of moves to make, but they should be a 45-50 win team.
Centers are different. Always have been.I agree but did you forget Wilt Chamberlain played in the NBA for yrs? He's a top 2 player that many consider the best all time.
Hey, we are projected to sign Ray Felton. Respect our process! You don't want any part of Orlando next year.
:XGreat great news for the Lakers. No they will not win a championship in 2019, but they will probably win 50 games and compete in the playoffs. Come 2020 all bets are off.
With the sole exception of the New York Yankees, the Lakers are the most amazing franchise in American sports history. What’s remarkable is that for the last 70 years they have been consistently relevant with only a few 3-4 stretches during that time of mediocre or bad teams. This last stretch, since the end of Kobe, has been one of the worst, worse than the retirement of Jerry West and Wilt, worse than the end of Magic and Kareem.
And now it’s officially over. As Kobe says, Jeanie Buss is the Mother Of Dragons.
No it doesn't. Spurs could hold him for one more year or trade him to another team and it would cost Leonard a whole lot of money if he hopped to the Lakers in free agency. Is he willing to give up that much money?I don't think it is. All Leonard has to say is he's going to be a Laker in a year and it forces all hands.
I don't know how you can say that when Wilt LITERALLY CHANGED THE LEAGUE RULES.30 years ago this would seem right.
It’s been a tough couple of years. I try to watch, but it’s really hard when they keep losing.Oh ? I forgot about this Timsocks guy
Why would anyone trade for him and give up a lot for one year?No it doesn't. Spurs could hold him for one more year or trade him to another team and it would cost Leonard a whole lot of money if he hopped to the Lakers in free agency. Is he willing to give up that much money?
oh c'mon. no one wants to hear "woe is me" from Lakers fans at this point. It’s been a tough couple of years. I try to watch, but it’s really hard when they keep losing.
Some of us were Laker fans before today in here. All I am sayingIt’s been a tough couple of years. I try to watch, but it’s really hard when they keep losing.
Did his agent ever meet with the 76ers either then?So obviously LeBron never met with the Nuggets or he wouldn't be a Laker right now.
We’re not used to failure.oh c'mon. no one wants to hear "woe is me" from Lakers fans at this point.
According to Ian Begley Mario wanted to go to the Knicks and turned down a few better offers.Mario Hezonja has agreed to a one-year, $6.5 million deal with the Knicks, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
That seems like a really good deal for the Knicks. When did they start doing that with FA's?
will be funny to see what happens to those. Luckily Philly fans maintain their passion when getting burned too. could see a whole lot of excrement on that #23
I’ve been one for 48 years. Saw Wilt play live. And Magic, and Kareem, and Shaq, and Kobe. It’s been a sweet life. Some of us were Laker fans before today in here. All I am saying
when didn't Windhorst become a bigger LeBron nut hugger then Chris Broussard?Does Windhorst need to get his own place in LA or does he just live in LeBrons's pool house?
Do you have a Mike Smrek jersey to prove your point? Some of us were Laker fans before today in here. All I am saying
Broussard is a LeBron nut hugger? Uh, no.when didn't Windhorst become a bigger LeBron nut hugger then Chris Broussard?
it's funny if had Harris and those guys fly out there for nothing. Josh Harris is a gross human being, but man if they went to LA to look at business outside of basketball, Harris will have Lebron and all those associated with him by the balls.Did his agent ever meet with the 76ers either then?
That’s because you’re a bandwagon fan. It’s been a tough couple of years. I try to watch, but it’s really hard when they keep losing.
I think they have 1 or 2 more? But they’re not more amazing. They had a more amazing run, but it hasn’t stretched nearly as long. And yet the Celtics have still been the more amazing NBA franchise than the Lakers. Championships, count 'em.
Darrell Imhoff work for ya?Do you have a Mike Smrek jersey to prove your point?
It’s a 50 year bandwagon though.That’s because you’re a bandwagon fan.
Somewhere at my parents home I have a Don Ford autographed basketball.Do you have a Mike Smrek jersey to prove your point?
Just take them home before it gets all messy...traffic is already bad enough over there.will be funny to see what happens to those. Luckily Philly fans maintain their passion when getting burned too. could see a whole lot of excrement on that #23
I can fathom with Lakers fans. I'm an AC Milan fan and ever since winning the Italian League Serie A Title in 2010/11 it's been a downward spiral of poor play, terrible signings, Silvio signing to a China man who seems to not have the money and we're now banned from Europe for a year because of our new owner. We’re not used to failure.
