Just turned on this TCU/Cal game. Makes me yearn for the halcyon days of Paul Johnston football.Might help explain why it's time for a change. Yeah, this first half is as bad as I've seen in a long time. Tobias Oliver should be playing QB
this picture kills me. Imagine getting proposed with that dumb ### mascot behind you. https://twitter.com/cheezitbowl/status/1078131331782008832?s=21

worst decision I have seen in a long time.Cannot believe they punted there. Maybe that's why Gary Patterson never moves up the ladder.
I wish this was being played in Roman times. I am certain an emperor would have released Lions by now to eat both teams. This is horrendous football. If TCU scores off of this punt return I sure hope they go for 2
Last thing we need is for this to go OT.
Why would horned frogs try to start a lawn mower though(dance/cheet motion)The TCU dance girls are the only legit thing about this game.
Always strong game for TCUThe TCU dance girls are the only legit thing about this game.
It's gotten to the point I feel awful for him. This game is so bad though I have to see it through to say I saw it.@ToddFuhrman: The Picasso of QB bowl performances https://twitter.com/ToddFuhrman/status/1078150547981557760/photo/1
And the Frogs may still win...think about that.@ToddFuhrman: The Picasso of QB bowl performances https://twitter.com/ToddFuhrman/status/1078150547981557760/photo/1

Good grief. I was gonna suggest 3 off tackle dives and try a FG in OT just to avoid a possible INT until I saw the kicking options. But he had to miss that FG to fit in with this game.
He is probably the happiest guy in the stadium they were still able to score after that and that the TCU player was stopped before he could score as well.It was this guy
lolStorm response company sponsors bowl game and it's canceled due to storms.
Thank God Immodium A.D doesn't sponsor a bowl game.
I'm expecting them to beat this charge sometime today.Woah. Clemson banned substance suspended....
Things they don't teach in schoolHow is it that a horrendous, crime ridden, poverty stricken town like Shreveport gets a bowl game, but progressive, booming cities like Portland or Seattle are left out? Don't say the weather, because we just had a wonderful bowl game in Texas cancelled and I think they are playing in sub-freezing temps in NYC today. Strange business.

Oh, I know. Just being snarky. I grew up in DFW and went to college in Jackson. I made the drive along I-20 probably 20-30 times, so I know all too well about Shreveport, its large stadium, the river boats and my favorite track growing up, Louisiana Downs. It has a little bit of history. Used to be a way for the now RIP southland conference to get a matchup against a decent conference opponent, usually SWC or SEC and still draw a decent crowd. Being on I-20 it's a sub 3 hour drive from DFW/Houston and a good chunk of the SEC, has full-on gambling options and lots of hotel space.
Portland and Seattle don't have near the driving proximity to power 5 and next 5 conferences. It fits a niche. I bet it probably outdraws most every bowl game up to 12/31.
Guess not.Portland, Oregon doesn't really have a football stadium befitting its current status as a major American city, does it? I assume where the MLS Timbers play would be way too small for a college bowl or NFL game?
