2018 College Football Thread: Local man buys some teenage champions a 4 for 4 (2 Viewers)

I don't think it'll come to this, but ND losing the CFP bid to Michigan because they 'aren't as good a team right now' angle is over (despite Cuse being crazy overrated).

@Dickie Dunn

Go MinuteMen or whatever the #### you're called!!!
I know my team stinks, but you guys really need to remember the name Andy Isabella. Leading the nation in receiving yards and second in catches entering the day.

He has 15 catches for 219 yards and two TDs so far. Former 60-meter state champion. He’ll be playing in the slot on Sundays for someone next year.

He'll be playing in Nashville. Patriots south get their Edelman/Welker.

What a pathetic call by Syracuse. Trying to avoid a shutout instead of trying for a TD to get back into the game. Enjoy the doink Dino!
Local businesses were donating thousands of dollars per Syracuse point scored to feed low income and homeless children in upstate NY on Thanksgiving. Even just 3 points could feed hundreds if not thousands of youngsters. I think Dino would rather have gone for the td there but tough to gamble with the happiness of children. So instead of grumbling stomachs and tears on Thursday, you'll have a lot of joyful little faces enjoying their turkey with all the fixins courtesy of Uncle Dino.

I don't think I'd want to do any business with an organization that said, "Sorry kids, Notre Dame shut us out.  I guess you will just go hungry this Thanksgiving.  Blame Dino.  Or the Catholics."

SU-ND was one of those games where if a couple of bounces or a call here or there goes SU's way, Cuse probably wins. Maybe if we get that call where the SU defender clearly ripped the ball out of the ND qb's hands there on the sideline the game turns right there and cuse scores a couple quick ones to take the lead. The stat sheet ended up lopsided but if you were just watching with your eyes you'd see two very evenly matched teams. Syracuse's starting QB Eric Dungey,  a Unitas Award finalist, also was knocked out of the game early. Tough to lose close ones like this when nothing goes your way.

The game was over once Dungey was knocked out.

Winner of the Iowa State/Texas game vs Oklahoma in the Big 12 CCG unless WVU beats OU next week?  Barring other upsets.  Am I figuring that correctly?

Ugh. Obviously Michigan played terribly but the disaster is Chase Winovich. Sounds like a broken collarbone.

That's REALLY REALLY REALLY bad for Michigan.

While Wyoming is planning on eliminating the program I graduated from, I’m happy they beat Air Force today.  Go Pokes!!

Not necessarily.

WVU is now 6-2 in the conference.  If Texas beats ISU, they will be 6-2 and Iowa State will have three losses.

WVU beat Texas Head-to-Head.

Is this confirmed? Hate to see any young athlete hurt, even my rival. If true, hopefully he makes a full recovery!

I'm wearing the Cowboys sweatshirt I bought from the Brown and Gold Outlet in Laramie earlier this year.

Nothing went their way because their Defense couldn't stop a square rock from rolling up a hill and the Offense without Dungy was a sitting duck. ND is just a better team. A lot better

Vanderbilt just scored in OT and they got a penalty for excessive celebration because the WR who caught the pass tossed the ball up in the air. Garbage.
