At a minimum, please add SOG to the telecast. In the days of deep analytics you’d think they could put a few stats on the screen.Northern Voice said:NBC Wednesday Night Hockey is doing... lots of smart things?
- No more 'rivalry night'
- More games
- 17 double headers
- More teams covered including emphasizing cities like Vegas and Nashville
- Way more west coast teams
- Not shying away from Canada (including showing an all Canada Toronto/Winnipeg Gabe because they're good)
- Moving studio from city to city like College Gameday.
SucksAndrej Sekera tore his Achilles, possibly out for the entire season... again.
Terrible value.I year 7.35 mil for Mark Stone.
Is UFA after that.

Highly recommend this league. Rodg needs a good hockey guy.Any of you guys want to run a dynasty fantasy hockey team? It's part of a 4 team conglomerate with accompanying baseball, football and basketball teams. I will run the other 3.
PM me your rooster. I might be interested.Any of you guys want to run a dynasty fantasy hockey team? It's part of a 4 team conglomerate with accompanying baseball, football and basketball teams. I will run the other 3.
Aren't you the good hockey guy?Highly recommend this league. Rodg needs a good hockey guy.
That's exactly what I thought, but not everybody has the time.Aren't you the good hockey guy?
I think it would be frowned upon if he ran his own team and rodg's.Aren't you the good hockey guy?
9.4%, not millions?Remember last year's trade deadline when everybody tried to tell me Tatar was good. Vegas had to retain 9.4 million dollars. Suzuki could be great though.
That make more sense9.4%, not millions?
So the Habs retain 10 percent on Pacioretty's remaining salary for this season while Vegas retains 9.433962 percent (not kidding) on Tatar's remaining three years. Which makes things basically a wash for this season but Montreal gets savings on two years after that on Tatar...

if you're referring to me the argument wasn't that he was good but that the price Vegas paid was in the range for what he was worth/had accomplished. it was a little high but two of the picks were future picks and Vegas had so many stockpiled that it wasn't that big of a deal to give a little, and they may have needed to anyway since it's hard to pry roster players in their prime already locked up on a contract.Remember last year's trade deadline when everybody tried to tell me Tatar was good. Vegas had to retain 9.4 million dollars. Suzuki could be great though.
LOL - I was reading my wife one of the many stories about how much partying the Caps have done, and showed her the drunk Jakub Vrana video, and she said, "You know they're not going to start the season focused, right? I said, "I don't even care."Three months since winning the Cup, and I'm still impervious to pain or anger.
Giving new meaning to the term, "Stanley Cup hangover."LOL - I was reading my wife one of the many stories about how much partying the Caps have done, and showed her the drunk Jakub Vrana video, and she said, "You know they're not going to start the season focused, right? I said, "I don't even care."
I literally don't care. They could lose every single game this season, and I'd be OK since we finally won the #### cup.

Rangers have acquired right D Adam McQuaid from B's in exchange for Kampfer, fourth-rounder, Post has learned.
I didn't get it at all for the Rags unless they move him later in the season but I really can't see him getting much in return even for a desperate team.
My guess is it is for a veteran presence role...the Rangers are going with a youth movement and McQuaid is a highly respected leader who can throw the fists very well...not a bad guy to have around a bunch of youngsters as they figure things out...If I had to guess Quinny probably knows him pretty well as their paths definitely crossed in Boston...
wow. I guess the pressure of keeping up with Stan's cups finally got to him.Yzerman stepped down. That sucks.
Maybe he wants to give turning the Wangs around after his contract is up?I hate to make baseless dopey comments like this but there has to be something wrong right? Why would he do this two weeks before camp starts?
Well that’s fine but then why do it now. Could easily do that next summer. The timing is what’s weird.Maybe he wants to give turning the Wangs around after his contract is up?
That was my first thought though with what you were thinking,I hope we're wrong.
Seems very strange for sure, I'd agree something is very wrong. He doesn't seem to be the kind of guy that would do something like this at the last minute and risk hurting the team.Well that’s fine but then why do it now. Could easily do that next summer. The timing is what’s weird.
