AS of right this moment (and things change all the time), but I'm hearing the #mnwild  are backing out of Jack Eichel trade talks with the #sabres. 

Asset price/cost too much for Minnesota to stomach/make work

it can’t work without cap/Fiala going the other way so never seemed to me like it was going anywhere when they started blowing it up

Going to end up in bottom out Red Wings territory imo, but if they can win a cup in the next couple of years it may still be worth it.  I'm just not sure they really are there.

He’s also got that lawsuit/ investigation over the organization’s head, so he might already be on thin ice, so to speak.

There’s also the problem that many of the FO from that team are in other places now, like Montreal and Florida. I have to imagine they’re staring down the proverbial barrel as well.

 
Blake Coleman to Calgary where he’ll never be heard from again. Thrilled it’s not Boston like rumored. That would have been bad.

@charlieo_conn: Flyers offseason moves so far fall into one of two buckets:

- pretty much slam dunk smart moves
- getting a guy with objectively awful results & banking on fixing them in a new environment

Really no middle ground.
