2021 College football thread - Auburn’s gotta Auburn. (1 Viewer)

Bruins very aggressive on defense so far. Hopefully they can keep that up. 
That play by Stingley was amazing. What a great player he is.

Yes I felt like a moron after LSU won that title because I dumped on O so much after that hire. While I’m still a huge moron, that guy isn’t a very good coach. 

 
I totally missed the answer to the trivia question. Who was the last team to lose their first game and win the NC?

I did not see the game, but barely beating a Tulane team that was discombobulated by Hurricane Ida is poor form, to say the least. Luckily for OU, defense in the SEC is an afterthought.

LSU just scored way too quickly. 

 
So when was the last time Georgia Tech wasn’t terrible? Calvin Johnson? I feel like they’ve been less than irrelevant for half my life now.

I don’t like him either. Up to now I’ve wanted him fired. But UCLA is playing great tonight. Surprising the hell out of me ((see my earlier post before the game which looks pretty stupid right now.) Hopefully they can hang on, gonna be tight…

Not really that surprising.   Lsu still thinks it's 2 years ago.  Orgoron is a moron.   No Burrow.   They had a rough week with being displaced with the Ida.   Not surprising the good home team punched them in the mouth.   Good win for you

So is Clemson out of the NC picture or is this one of those "close loss to a semi-good team so we have to include them in the conversation"  situations?  I don't see another good win on their schedule...

Unless there's some freshman stud QB on the roster you can put a fork in them IMO.

That 2.5 point line for LSU is nuts. UCLA cannot hang with LSU for 4 quarters, they simply don’t match up on the LOS. I hope I’m wrong but I see this as a close game for about a half and then the Tigers cruise. I can’t bet against my Bruins but YOU should. Easy money IMO.
