Bruins get a touchdown (bad call it was incomplete) and just stripped the ball away (probably should have been whistled). So they might pull this out after all. But it’s all luck; they don’t deserve it.
Yep, Fresno is pretty good. They will be ranked next week. Haener with heroic effort pulls it out.And now an injured Haener, writhing in pain, leads Fresno to the lead with 11 seconds left. Amazing effort.
They are projected to jump to 6. Right behind Iowa.Official crowd for last night’s White Out was 109,958. And they were loud all game.
Not that the polls really matter right now, but it would be nice to see Penn State above those jagoffs from Columbus.
I thought the ND was at Soldier Field? So what are the big games next week?
Anything else?
- ND/WI at Wrigley
- A&M/Arkansas

ignoring the Antwaan Randle El era is a mistake, imoHow does IU suck at football for 70 years![]()
It’s comical how they have pooped the bed for generations.
Anthony Thompson was my guy but even then a trip to the Poulan Weedeater Independence Bowl was the big gameignoring the Antwaan Randle El era is a mistake, imo![]()
Why would anybody react like that in general but especially for a team this bad? They don’t deserve that kind of emotion.
ah, yeah. Packers legend Anthony Thompson.Anthony Thompson was my guy but even then a trip to the Poulan Weedeater Independence Bowl was the big game![]()

Tennessee does a Checkerboard the Stadium with Orange and White. UGA has done Black Outs. IMO We’ll probably start to see more of these planned/marketed color outs across the country.Biggest difference from SEC and B1G is SEC doesn't need these gimmicks to have a great atmosphere.

Unfortunately you are right but UGA doesn't marketed like PSU doesn't. PSU btw is only 9-8 during White Out games so not a huge advantageTennessee does a Checkerboard the Stadium with Orange and White. UGA has done Black Outs. If Florida plays like they did yesterday, at least when they were coming back, they’ll beat Tennessee.Tennessee is embarrassing these days. This should be an easy win for UF after a tough loss yesterday but UF showed they might be the only team to hang with Alabama. What might have been if AR15 could've played yesterday
They have played OSU, Michigan, Alabama and Auburn under White Out conditions. They ain't bringing this out for Rutgers or Northwestern. Only the big boys get this treatment, so it's completely understandable that they'd be .500 in those games.Unfortunately you are right but UGA doesn't marketed like PSU doesn't. Lol at a Rutgers white out ...They have played OSU, Michigan, Alabama and Auburn under White Out conditions. They ain't bringing this out for Rutgers or Northwestern. Only the big boys get this treatment, so it's completely understandable that they'd be .500 in those games.
Oh he’s a better defensive coordinator than the guy we got now. I’m positive of that.@DanWolken: There are multiple threads on Warchant right now invoking the name of Will Muschamp. That is how broken you are, FSU.
Won’t be long before you all pass my Buckeyes. They look completely lost on defense and the QB is suspect. Unless there is a miraculous turn around I expect at least three more losses.Tom Servo said:Official crowd for last night’s White Out was 109,958. And they were loud all game.

Was the Memphis punt return never mentioned here?Apparently blocking on an onsides kick is illegal, and now I know that it can be brought into evidence on a replay review.
To be clear, there was no flag for the illegal block, but illegal blocking was discovered while reviewing whether the ball travelled 10 yards.
Earlier in the game Memphis had two #4 players on a punt return TD (punishable by penalty) that went unenforced.
Queue Mike Leach.
Did the ref blow the play dead? I thought the replay showed him getting ready to blow the whistle and then pulled it back out when the guy picked up the ball??Was the Memphis punt return never mentioned here?
Obviously we had multiple chances to put them away, but we got completely shafted a few times that game.
State punts it, player clearly (although quickly) downs it, nearest ref blows his whistle AND motions dead ball. Our players start walking off their field, Memphis players walking on the field. Memphis guys picks it up and runs it back.
I'm still baffled...and pissed. It was never reviewed.
They just flat out have given up calling holds, unless someone gets pulled down. Here's the latest SEC Shorts: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g4kA1dCWwJc
The UNC/UVA game was so awesome. Mind you, UNC hasn't beaten UVA in football or basketball (men's) since Barack Obama was President. And UVA has been a thorn in the side long before that.
UNC goes up 24-7 early. Howell chucking bombs all over the field. His first quarter was something silly like 5 throws, 4 completions, 3 TD's and about 200 yards. Josh Downs doing a Tyreek Hill impersonations. Dyami Brown's little brother catching 75 yard TD.
Then of course UVA catches momentum with their stupid gimmicky offense and the unibrow ginger QB. They end up leading 28-24 at half.
Every UNC fan in the world feeling like they've seen this horrible movie before.
But nah. Came out in the second half running Ty Chandler down their throats and dominated that disgusting, pathetic team/program/school.
Has UGA done a Blackout game since 2008?Tennessee does a Checkerboard the Stadium with Orange and White. UGA has done Black Outs. IMO We’ll probably start to see more of these planned/marketed color outs across the country.
Reports are that the whistle was blown. Either way I think the "Signal" overrides the audible whistle.Beef Ravioli said:Did the ref blow the play dead? I thought the replay showed him getting ready to blow the whistle and then pulled it back out when the guy picked up the ball??
If the whistle blew (should be easy enough to find out) then the play should have been dead regardless if it was the correct call.Reports are that the whistle was blown. Either way I think the "Signal" overrides the audible whistle.
Tennessee paid Army $500k to cancel their game for next season, then turned around and paid Akron $1 million to visit Neyland, listen to Rocky Top, and get beat. This honk thinks it was a great move.

Well, in general. These days, ya never know. It would be so Tennessee to spend $1.5 million to change opponents and then lose anyways.Uh, you sure about that?
