I think it’s kind of complicated for some teams but if I gambled I would bet a lot of money that Bama is in if they beat UGA.  Bama will get the benefit of the doubt - “this game was a rivalry game”, “it was close”, “Bama’s WR was ejected”, “It’s freaking Bama and Nick Saban”.

The backup is a walk-on.  If RB gets down on 2nd down it wouldn't matter.
