I assume the 13 TD's are passing TD's, so 22 total TD's against 1 interception. Do you know if Hurts had any red zone fumbles lost?

Considering our 1 Super Bowl wining QB was someone no one wanted included us previously, yeah without question that would be a Philly thing.And this could certainly happen in Philadelphia.

I was watching a Newcastle United match about a month and a half ago and before a corner by the opposing club both sides of players were getting chippy in the box. It was apparently intentional to get the refs attention as there was a fan who had a heart attack in the stands. There were supporters yelling onto the pitch for players to get the game stopped since the defibuulator was on the other side of stadium and was easier to run across with it. A few of the players after the match expressed concerned how there was only 1 in the entire stadium and several players mentioned what happened at the Euros to Cristian Erickson.
Either way it just shows not all athletes are selfish egotistical #######s

This didn't happen at all, but I'm glad to see you found a way to put some anti-sixers stuff in here.
But what is the advantage of the 6 seed over the 7 seed? None. I think the 7 vs Tampa would be better than a 6 vs the Rams/Dallas.
So the reason Hurts is NOT good here, and would be PERFECT there, is that Cleveland has a better WR2/WR3 and backup TE?

There are only 2 scenarios where Eagles get the 6th seed, and in both they would face TB. One of those scenarios it doesn't even matter if they win or lose. If Rams and NO win (which I think is likely), Eagles get 6 seed and play TB.

Yeah not sure why I said Okafor there. I think was thinking someone else. But my point still stands thats there was a pretty vocal crowd who didn't get drafting Joel. I might hate the team, tell people I was right on Simmons etc but I remember telling people you want Embiid not Wiggins and Embiid will be the better player. You take whatever talent you can to build the roster at that time. Embiid was a really good pick despite the fact it was also lucky he had so many red flags. If it wasn't for the red flags I think He goes 1st Overall as I heard draft chatter if not for the medicals he may have gone before Wiggins. Who knows how that draft plays out if that did happen an where the 76ers are today.

Based on the recent rash of Covid you got your answer. Now they can call up more practice squad players than normal due to the covid designations, assuming they aren't cleared by Saturday.

He already had his press conference on Monday and said they are still deciding what to do and no rush to figure it out. Then later that day they moved 12 players to the COVID list. Seems they are crossing their fingers most starters can go in protocols and it decides for them (and gives them an advantage for the rest of the season.)

The Eagles have been pretty clever with how they have handled COVID. Between signing McCown to the practice squad last year, having the QB's separated for meetings this year and now taking advantage of the rules for week 18 they have been ahead of the curve.

So Wentz has the better passing stats, Hurts has the much better rushing stats, Wentz has a better overall team around him, and Hurts probably had the easier schedule. And both teams are 9-7. So pretty even comparison. And the Eagles got a 1st and 3rd out of the deal.

I stopped doing this when Wentz went from MVP’ish to blah seemingly overnight. Just because Hurts is just getting started doesn’t mean much. We’ve seen younger players stay the same and regress and older ones figure it out and hit their potential.
Even the cap savings aren’t there until we stop paying Wentz.
Even with all that said, I’m happier with Hurts and the 1 at the moment.

He simply is just a guy that requests out of town, the same year he signs a life-changing contract that at the time was one of the 10 highest contracts ever given out, after the first time he got benched. No need to call him names. The facts are damning enough.

Hey I'm honest with myself, and yes I am. Miss the arm, not the personality or leadership (or lack thereof). All good. Our new guy is going to get his first playoff start at a younger age than that guy got his first NFL start. Won't ever forget what he did for 2017 and that we wouldn't have won it all without him. Was at the ACL game. Was at the Colts game to support him his first game back after ACL (I live in LB, but made the trip and timed it right). But also won't forget how he left in a huff after we paid him big time. I still don't forgive T.O. either for wrecking the team in 2005 either, for reference.

No worries. I understand. I also think that him wanting to leave may have helped the Eagles in the long run. With his tendency to play hero ball, I think he will have a hard time leading a team to 3 or 4 playoff wins to win a championship. He has been better this year than last (with a lot better supporting cast) but it is hard to unsee the left handed interception in the end zone he threw against the Titans. That cost them that game, the division, and if they lose this week, the playoffs.
And T.O. was the ultimate butthurt guy and I don't forgive him either. Sometimes that is what you get when you dance with the devil (See Antonio Brown).

And 1 was a front runner for league MVP till they got hurt their 2nd year and the other in his 2nd year is just completing his first full season as a starter

Lets be fair we don't know what went on behind the scenes that may have changed things. Neither does the media. There's a lot of speculation but there's 2 sides to journalist sources. There's the guy the team knows will go to the media and feed him BS they want to leak and then theres the guy with his own agenda. Then you got guys on different sides the coach, the gm, the owner etc. All will have different people sometimes giving a different story on something that happened.
I learned this when following wrestling and meeting different people. It's a lot better if you know the source from a personal standpoint and not some anonymous John Doe you've never met in person.
So in this case I don't think its fair for people to really speculate and say one guy is at fault. This is completely different from the Ben Simmons situation and people have every right to be mad at him and his agents but they should also be blaming the team for letting it get so out of hand in those years. The Simmons situation anyone who was close to that isn't surprised by the whats going on now. With the Eagles lets fair the team had a lot of egos. There's guys on the SB winning side I think if people hung out with them personally would get a different opinion of the people they are compared what they are like when the cameras are on.
Also I don't get why we always go after players for trying to get out contracts they sign when the teams themselves do this constantly as well. Neither side really respects the contract. I think with the Wentz situation it's somewhere in the middle. It seemed like a vital situation, people in the FO, coaching staff and players wise weren't being held accountable, there were a lot of cancerous people involved in all of this as well. We had a DC who after the SB got pathetically lazy that my Co workers son ran the defensive practice and game plan all of last year. Schwartz should've been fired as he was caught multiple times sleeping in his office when he should've been working. I think there's a lot of fault to go around in the Wentz situation and it's not as black and white as some think it is. They will let their hatred and egos get in the way of having th popular "cool kids Sports radio" opinions that have poisoned this town for years.

Wentz hero ball reminds me a lot of how Brett Favre use to play and its something that was in his college scouting report on it too. I think one scout put it best at the time. Wentz can win you a lot of football games and might be the most game ready out of all the QB prospects in this draft class who you can start day 1 and not need to worry. However he's going to make at least one headscratching decision as well. He's not afraid to take chances on throws. Most times it'll work but that one time it doesn't is where you'll get frustrated.
I think with Wentz though is you got to reel in that mentality and let him know he can trust his teammates to make plays and he doesn't have to force everything to win.

I am one of those that was guilty of trashing Dak when the "total TD" thing was always brought up. Now, we see Dak was having a really great season last year and we also have seen what he looks like without talent around him as well. But in the end, production is production and if you are patient, a guy CAN develop into a very very good NFL QB, maybe not elite, maybe never hit that super upper Rodgers/Manning/Mahomes tier due to physical limitations etc.
But man, winning is fun, ain't it?

Has played over 11 games in all 6 yrs. Has 3 seasons (including this year) with 16 starts and 3 without. 84 of 96 games and only didn't complete last year do to being benched. So I don't see how he's hurt every year

Honestly depends on what kind of QB you want. You want a guy thats just ok and maybe gets you into the WC round every year unless he has the talent around him or do you want a guy who's gonna guarantee you a chance without relying putting guys around him? I guess it just depends on your preference.
