I thought you would be more focused on the big game tomorrow.

BIGs Toilet Bowl. Michigan State vs Indiana both 1-6 in conference and tied for the worst record in the BIG.

My wife went to State so I am rooting for them to win.
I think he's moved on to OSU fan now.
State football fans always bail on their team in bad times.

My wife's college friends were all gung ho "Sparty On" when they had some good years. They jumped off the bandwagon as soon as the well ran dry. Don`t watch the games. Empty seats everywhere in the stadium. No interest in the football team.

Even in the Rich Rod/Brady Hoke years Michigan still sold out every home game.

It is hilarious to me that you think this is a good thing. That anyone should support a football program and give them money and time if they put crap on the field.

I have to agree with you, even Michigan had better teams in their bad years. RichRod was 7-6 the year he got canned.

It is just all the MSU people I know are obsessed with Michigan all the time. Listen to The Ticket in Detroit. The MSU host noly talk about Michigan, and that was before all of this.

MSU could go 1-11 but if that one win was against Michigan it makes the season.
Not this MSU alum. I do have to say though that this current ****storm with UM has been pretty good for ****s and giggles. Each day the new stuff that comes out is more unreal than the last thing. To me, it was inevitable with Jim Harbaugh.

And I expect MSU to put on a team that competes, year in and year out, with a better than .500 winning percentage. These coaches are making boatloads. coach these kids up for cripes sake.

Definitely a bonus and fun to beat UM, but that doesn't make or break a season for me personally.

Ok (y) Then you are different than the people I know.

And I did not mean 1-11 season nobody would be happy, but a 6-5 type season with a win over Michigan is a success.

No it isn't, it is just what arrogant Michigan fans think.

No, I am married to a Sparty, all her her family and friends are Sparts, I listen everday to

And tell me that UM fans, with a 6-5 type season with a win over Ohio State wouldn't consider it a success.
:own3d::bye:
💯 It would be successful.

But A 6-5 season with a win over Michigan State and a loss to OSU would be a fail. :pickle:

Ok Bronco, I deleted my owned too!

Obviously your wife and her family like to settle for mediocrity... who would have thought that?

You nailed it.
I mean...it's the most "water is wet" guess of them all, but cool

I was called a conspiracy theorist (not by you) for suggesting Stallions had access to a "slush fund" to pay for tickets (airline and game).

Feel like Ol' GM here is owed an apology.
No...it was me...and the way it read it seemed like you were talking about the university and I qualified that in the line item you bolded above. #5 on my list could be considered the same. I made what I thought was a relatively safe assumption for that comment but understand I didn't ask you to specify what you meant prior to making my comment, so for that I apologize.

You didn't call me a conspiracy theorist, unless NYSL2 or whatever is your alias account, Uncle T. ;)

All good, you're just defending your school and I would do the same. As a fan of football, I'd like this issue to just go away so we can focus on the remaining games. I think UM is as good as Georgia so hope we get that matchup.

And then hope Oregon beats the winner. :)
Look back through those quotes....it was me. I own it. But to be clear, I am not defending them. I'm not saying the cheating didn't happen and I'm not justifying the cheating. All I'm doing is letting the process play itself out to see where this goes. Said in my very first post on this topic that the cheaters need to be dealt with and I expect those who aren't cooperating to be handled accordingly. So far, so good.

What I HAVE pushed back on is this notion that it's primarily about cheating and sportsmanship. I don't believe that's it, but time will tell on that.

I think Michigan is really good. I don't think they are really good because of sign stealing.
Maybe what you think is wrong. For years Michigan is good enough to make their way through the BIG with 1 or 2 losses only to get trounced in The Game. Then all of a sudden they are the ones doing the trouncing. Coincidentally, the timing lines up with the Stalions timeline. They went from pretty good, to OMG, except they got trounced again in the playoff, which again, completely by coincidence, is the one game Stalions couldn’t corrupt. And yet they crushed Ohio State 2 years in a row, who happened to have the #2 qb in the draft and is dominating in the NFL as a rookie. But it’s all just a coincidence.

And you think they’re on Georgia’s level…

Oregon beat CJ Stroud with Anthony Brown as their QB. In Columbus.

I think THIS Michigan team will be able to give THIS Georgia team a game THIS season of they meet in the playoffs. Hope that clarifies what I think about Michigan.
In CJ’s second start. The horror.

But Michigan beating CJ Stroud in his 12th start was only on account of Michigan's cheating. Got it.
Finally.

I already tried this reasoning a couple of weeks ago. It doesn’t seem to resonate with anyone tied to UM.

FINAL: Grove City College defeats Susquehanna 21-20 to advance to the second round of the Division 3 tournament. A Logan Pfeuffer pass to Ryan Lenhart with 7seconds left was the winning score.

The Wolverines will meet the Cortland Red Dragons, who beat Endicott 23-17.

Logan Pfeuffer and Ryan Lenhart…love it…textbook D3 names.

Most likely we REALLY need to add Maryland to the list of teams Rutgers and OSU were sharing Michigan signs with. :hophead:

Terrapins keep creepin'
I don't like this at all
Nope. MD QB play is lights out
and JJ looks broken

It is almost like he doesn't know the plays the defense is calling.
:lmao: yes..
Thats exactly why he is missing wide open WRs
It is a joke lighten up
I know.. I almost want Maryland to win for you and Bronco.

I don't care whether win or lose. This whole thing is hilarious. Just keep telling yourself that all Spartan fans are obsessed with your program and you will feel better.

I don`t need to tell myself anything.

The good news is MSU did not lose the BIG Toilet Bowl today! You should be celebrating!

Thanks for telling me how I should care about my program and idolize yours for the 100th time.

I am here for the entertainment value and most (not alll) of you Michigan fans are deriving it by the dump truck. Don't ever change.

I am too! Lighten up. We would have fun drinking beer and watching football with my wife as she is a big football fan! Actually listened to the MSU game on the radio today. I don`t take any of this stuff here seriously.

I am predicting Michigan loses next week to OSU. They have not played well enough offensively, injuries are piling up and no HC all works in OSU favor.

The game winning TD pass.
Looks like it was on 4th and 10 too. Pretty awesome finish (if you’re a GCC fan anyway).

I do too. The game is not as commercialized like top 20 football has become. I also go to 3-4 HS games a year.

Susquehanna is 20-2 over the last two seasons. The two losses have both been in the first round of the tournament at home. If you’re a River Hawk fan, you gotta be sick to your stomach.
