The Nebraska defense should tell their QB that this is it - if you don't lead a scoring drive here, you're not getting on the plane home. In fact, you're not even making the bus.

Dave “Yoda” Aranda made the adjustments on defense, Utah now 1 for 8 on 3rd down and no attempts on 4th.

Buy Baylor’s Sawyer just threw a pick

Day is going to lose his job going with McCord. The stats don't show it, but no way is Mccord going to be able to beat Michigan.

Day will be looking for a job in 5 months.

Have you watched his other option? I agree UM is probably going to win three in a row this year, but McCord looks light years ahead of Brown.

I’m hopeful that McCord will grow throughout the season and be ok by The Game.

I’m more worried about the defense than I am the offense. Youngstown is moving the ball better than IU did last week.

Nebraska’s terrible QB spurned Norvell on signing day during his first class in 2020 I think. There’s at least a chance if he went to FSU, Travis wouldn’t be starting there today. Sometimes you get lucky.
And Sims might look better than Klubnik. FSU is going to pummel Clemson in two weeks

Buffaloes rolling now. Ralphie’s partying on The Hill tonight

ETA: CU is 10+ minutes away from winning twice as many games as last season.

Brown is twice the QB, but again the stats are misleading.

McCord has zero juice. Will be betting michigan heavily this year, and probably Notre Dame in week 4.

If we* don’t beat then 63-10 I’m gonna be furious

*I can say we they have taken so much of my money

So I love College Football but this 23/24/25 year old men playing college football has gotten so ****ing outta hand.

WTF.

I dunno. Watching all the boneheaded plays at the end of this Utah/Baylor game maybe we need fewer 18 year olds that don't understand the basic concepts of football. How do you let the WR get behind the whole defense when they are down by a touchdown with the ball on their own 25yd line and 8 seconds left?

Wow crazy no call at the end of that game. Clearly a ref scared to make a call on the last play. Dude was getting MUGGED.

Nah. Both guys were grabbing and pulling. Good no-call.

But, yeah, I was very surprised that there wasn’t a flag thrown. Most referees call that.

Receiver didn't even put a hand on the guy. He was playing the ball the whole way. DB had one arm wrapped around his waist, the other arm holding his arm down. Then he let go of the arm and pushed off the WR's shoulder to lever himself into the jump while preventing the WR from jumping at all.

Textbook pass interference 100%. He actually interfered, then let-go, then interfered a 2nd time, lol. Not even a little bit close. And I was rooting for the Utes (was watching the game w/ my son who is a big Utes fan). But that is PI 100 times out of 100 imo, unless the ref is a complete coward.

People I work with in Iowa are all about this weekend. I'm not sure I could care less about this weekend's lineup though.

I was in Iowa to visit my family over Labor day weekend and they were already planning next weekend and trying to get us to come back. Iowa vs Iowa state down there is like OSU vs Michigan or Auburn vs Alabama to them.

Nah. Borderline. Offense gets that call a majority of the time, but not always. Glad to see the defense get one there.

I’m not seeing it. Not sure what you have seen in Brown that makes you think this?

He may end up twice the QB but he’s not at the moment.

ETA - looks like a good bet with either QB at the moment

Gameday going to Boulder next weekend. Guess they don't trust them to beat Colorado State and Oregon and go for the USC game
it would be incredibly dumb for ESPN to not get out there before the party stops.

Can you imagine enrolling at CO last year as a freshman, and they're like, yeah we have a football team; and a year later, you are making plans for Gameday at home. That's cool.

I thought there was a good chance they would to Oregon for gameday in 2 weeks. Early line is Oregon by 19 versus Colorado, Colorado is not beating Oregon lol.
Oregon wins by 20+. 30 point win won’t surprise me.
Colorado will lose 5-6 games in the Pac at a minimum. The o-line and D are awful.
