Ghost and Byard aren’t BDawk or even Jenkins, but they’re pretty solid, too.

We need continuity and to gel in the secondary. Guys like Ricks and Brown have raw talent- they need to get some seasoning from the old guys. I feel all of this. We just need to get constant and consistent pressure from our DL. We have some horses there. Would like to see BG appear this year, but maybe last year was his last hurrah of sorts and he truly is cooked. Overally, still a pretty deep and talented team for the most part that can kill you in a lot of ways, so long as we don't kill ourselves with turnovers.

I think this week will be the last week we might not have Roby, expecting/hoping the bye gets some of our banged up guys some rest and recovery ready for the 2nd half of the season.

Eagles tried making a few trades today but told guys they were looking at price was too steep for what they were willing to give up. Eagles are comfortable with their nickel CBs wanted to upgrade but only up till a certain price

The #Eagles will roll with Bradley Roby (when healthy) and Eli Ricks in the slot, with Sydney Brown in box-nickel packages.

Ricks has allowed a 49.3 passer rating in his rookie year and Roby 47.9.

Saw a graphic when at PT espn put up they are scoring almost 7 PTs less in the 3 loses compared to the wins TO diff went from a +8 to -3, passing yardage is down and teams have contained CMC well who has yet to have his miss 4 games injury run yet.

Injuries are becoming a concern, we aren’t getting TOs or to the QB like we did last year, and the offense for the most part has been touch and go.

Yeah we beat mia but their wins this year have been against combine opponents with a .500 record. I think Dal lost that fake taking ARz too lightly. They seemed to get s little too cocky. KC battled the snow and Mahomes being sick first time KC lost to Den in 16 games last win Manning was the QB. We lost to the jets this year we’ve never lost too. This year I wouldn’t be super used with how the leagues gone we get a first round bye and then lose our playoff game. At the same time I wouldn’t be surprised if we made the SB. That’s a lot of possibilities right now.

Buffalo on the road isn't a good team. Lost to the Jets. Lost to the Jags (in London). Lost to the Patriots.

SF is a circled game for the Eagles. Reddick said as much. I think there's a lot of prideful guys in our locker room that didn't like all the talk those guys did after their loss.

I think after KC, the two tough games are @DAL and @SEA. The home games I think we win.

I think this is a huge game for the Birds. Exactly because of that schedule. Dropping a H2H game agains a division rival and letting them within 1 game of us would be terrible.

We are going to lose some games in that stretch. Having a 3-game cushion on DAL and the H2H win takes the pressure off. But Dallas’ schedule is pretty easy.

Birds need to try and get the 1 seed, hoping to let SF, DAL, and DET beat each other up. What they can’t afford to do is drop the Division and have to go on the road against SF, DAL or DET for the wild card.

I read that Tyler Steen has been practicing at RG today.

That’ll be intetesting to watch. I’m really hoping they bring Jurgens back, especially for what he does for the run game.

Sua being limited I feel like is more precautionary. If Jurgens can’t go, I think Opeta will.

If Steen does get the start, look for Dan Quinn to bring some exotic looks, ET stunts, etc to try and bring pressure up the middle.

Zangaro and Roob talking about moving Bradberry into the slot for this game. Apparently CeeDee has 63.7% of snaps from the slot.

I hate this idea. Bradberry is off this year- looks slow and unmotivated. And he never was ideal as a slot CB. Keep him and Slay outside- they match up well against Gallup and Cooks.

Use Byard in the Big Nickel for 1st and 2nd down, then roll Ricks in for 3rd. Even Jobe looked ok against MIA.

Steen looked pretty damn good to me the limited snaps he played last week while Opeta was out. Opeta just is not the guy so even if he's in there and knows what he is doing, he is just a JAG to me.

EVERY SNAP BARNETT STEALS FROM NOLAN SMITH IS A CRIME!

I'm no Barnette fan but I can only think of 2 times Smith was on the field this year. One a sack and the other last Sunday where he tackled Covey.

Ok so Steen did get the majority of the reps w the 1st team on RG today. Seems Jurgens will be left to have the bye to recover and be 100% after it. Seems they are done seeing Opeta look like a turnstile, so the changing of the guard seems evident.

Nolan Smith - 47 snaps

EVERY SNAP BARNETT STEALS FROM NOLAN SMITH IS A CRIME!

I'm no Barnette fan but I can only think of 2 times Smith was on the field this year. One a sack and the other last Sunday where he tackled Covey.

He's only been on the field for 47 snaps. Barnett has more than twice that, and Smith has more tackles, TFL and QB hits. And Smith had a great camp. Everyone was buzzing about how good he was in camp. The whole bench almost emptied when he got his sack.

Barnett's best quality this year is that he hasn't made any glaring stupid penalties. Yet.
