Doubtful IMO.KC should easily walk into the SB as well. No one will touch them.Amazing win fellas. Best team in the league and a team on a mission.
Super Bowl favorites by far. And by a lot. Just a great, complete team.

You said more then that.I literally said hurts fumble was costly but there’s a lot of fans who won’t even admit to that.P
I just don’t see hurts having that it factor to win a SB. Watching him play he looks like another QB who’s gonna put up very good regular season games but doesn’t have it to win the big one. Good player but I think he’s gonna be another stats guy. Some random thoughts.
- I don't understand the luck talk. Unless the ball is taking weird bounces or deflections, it isn't luck. KC as a team is leading the league (or close to it) in dropped passes. It's who they are this year. When the other team plays poorly, Eagles are lucky. Eagles play poorly and they deserve to die in a fire? Very weird take.
- That being said, after 10 games everyone needs to stop waiting for the Eagles to play a complete game. Players, fans, keep saying it's going to happen like it's inevitable. Maybe this is what they are, a bit of a sloppy mess, but finding ways to win.
- Sloppy play takes me to coaching. OC feels like he's hitting the random button in Madden sometimes. No flow, nothing setting up future plays. Generally baffling decisions. My "favorite" last night was after a failed WR screen to the left, he tries a failed WR screen to the right. Maddening. The go ahead pass to Smith was an audible by Hurts, so what is Johnson bringing to the table?
- Desai is a better DC than Gannon, but that's a low bar and doesn't mean Desai is actually good. Still hate this style of defense, but we're stuck with it for now and at least dude makes adjustments and tries some different things. He's done more with less.
- Been a little disappointed with the oline this year, but that's because my expectations are so ridiculously high. Lane now just looks great instead of his usual best lineman in the game. I wonder how much longer he and Kelce will play. I'm sure Kelce would have retired if they won last year. Those are big shoes to fill. We've been so spoiled for so long and I don't want it to end!
- Hurts is legit. To say otherwise is being a hater, nothing else. He isn't perfect, no QB is. Did you see the errant throws Mahomes had last night? But how can you watch this guy play and not be thrilled he's on your team? Does he still have room for improvement? Yup. Is he still very young and can possibly improve? Also, yup.
- As frustrating as they've been to watch at times, they still have the best record in football. Ugly wins beat pretty losses every time, so enjoy the ride!
I don’t mind hurts at QB I just think our fanbase severely overrates him a lot . I also can’t stand his little quotes and sayings. You say we need to do better as a team but I don’t see it. Actions for me speak louder. I don’t give a **** about motivational quotes. I care more about Super Bowl trophies.
Good guy teammates seem to like him but man stop with the dam quotes. Just say I wasn’t my best today and that can’t happen for us to reach our goals and be done with it. Motivational quotes are used for teams like the dam Giants who suck or bears not us. At this point his standards are well above his capabilities f that he’s set himself up if not reaching them it looks like it was a failure. His pr team really needs to get him to stop with these. I will say the ladies seem to like the quotes though
He’s also not my type of QB play I want. I’d prefer the Herbert’s, prime Rodgers, Big Ben’s of the world Mahomes and our a similar style to McNabb. Nothing wrong with that. Randall Cunningham is my favorite QB all time but I understabd he’s not the type who’s gonna win ya a SB either if you are looking for a franchise QB not a quick over the hump.
I know your hate of Hurts has been discussed ad nauseam. But omg you are such a weirdo about him. Did him replacing Wentz bother you that much? I say this as someone who was against that decision initially.
He is a top 5 QB in the league and we are lucky as hell to have him. And you hate him, it’s just weirdo behavior from who I assume is a long time eagles fan.
Lastly, Hurts is better than McNabb could have ever wished to be. And McNabb is why I’m an eagles fan. He’s also better Herbert.
Time will tell if Hurts is in the company of Rogers and Big Ben, but he is well on his way.
We most likely would have won the SB if Hurts hadn’t fumbled. So I think this is a really dumb thing to say.
But you know what, it’s fine. You don’t like Jalen Hurts and you never will. You never give him credit for anything. I’m just gonna assume you’re upset Wentz was benched for him.
You’re entitled to your opinion, I’m not going to attack you about it. I kind of feel bad for you, Hurts is gonna be Philly’s QB the next 10+ years more than likely. That’s a long time to not like your teams QB. Howie has done an amazing job at building a team around him to succeed.
I’m confident he will remain a top player for years to come and he will bring a Super Bowl to Philly, maybe even this season. I love him.
That kick he made to send it to OT was absolutely beastly. Also let's give a prayer of Thanksgiving to the Bengals for cutting rookie Jake Elliot in the preseason to go with the veteran Randy Bullock
He said we would have won the super bowl with Foles at QB, that Hurts doesn't have that "it factor", and that we should actually trade Hurts for Richardson. You said more then that.I literally said hurts fumble was costly but there’s a lot of fans who won’t even admit to that.P

I'm satisfied now with the Gauntlet.
Dallas
Chiefs
Bills
SF
Dallas
Seattle
I said I'd be thrilled if we went 3-3 in that 6 game stretch, and we're 3-0 in it. Of course I want to win next week, but if we lose to SF and Dallas, whatever.
It’s just not sustainable football bad starts. Eventually it’ll bite us. And probably at the worst time if not fixed soon. That kick he made to send it to OT was absolutely beastly. Also let's give a prayer of Thanksgiving to the Bengals for cutting rookie Jake Elliot in the preseason to go with the veteran Randy Bullock
Hurts was fantastic in teh fourth QTR and OT, the defense not so much. We should have lost this one but Jake hit that monster kick and Hurts was Hurts.
Has to be in the lead for MVP now.
But Djax will poopoo it away and call it lucky. This team should have lost another game or two, but the attitude and icewater veins are absolutely loveable traits. I'm just astounded that any Eagles fan isn't in love with Hurts at QB yet
Patriots had a lot of cheating and Goodell on their making sure Tom Brady got his way.Didn't the Patriots used to win like this with the G.O.A.T at QB?
Anybody else think part of the the second half adjustments is Brian Johnson not calling plays?
Several times they’ve looked like two completely different teams in the 1st half vs 2nd half.
Something significant is going on.
Johnson is a liability.
And honestly our backfield is so bad, I don’t put it on Desai. We just don’t have any playmakers.
Absolutely correct, but you've missed the bigger point. Of course you can't go 10 down every game and expect to come back...but Hurts has shown repeatedly that he is more then capable of bringing this team back, and you refuse to give him any of the credit. It’s just not sustainable football bad starts. I dont think it Hurts. I think its the coaching. Hurts is making a ton of mistakes. I see the right play calls start coming in, even if it it feels like its taking an ENTIRE ****ING QUARTER TOO LONG!!I mean if Hurts doesn't have IT I dont know what the IT factor even is.
I do want to see SF. I dont mind a loss, maybe prefer one as most likely we will see them somewhere in the playoffs and I want this team hungry.I'm satisfied now with the Gauntlet.

Hurts is a good if not great QB. I still think he makes a lot of poor reads. I believe our coaching and play-calling is compensating.Anybody else want to question how good hurts is? Are you not entertained? Not many qbs are scoring 4 tds in the second half in a monsoon
The play calling in overtime was honestly a thing of beauty. The execution as well.I dont think it Hurts. I think its the coaching. Hurts is making a ton of mistakes. Im worried about our OL. Was last year or was it our SB year where we had the same entire line throughout the year?Anybody else think part of the the second half adjustments is Brian Johnson not calling plays?

The first half playcalling was just brutal. It’s hard to imagine it’s him all game and he can pull a 180 like that and light up the second half isn’t it?Anybody else think part of the the second half adjustments is Brian Johnson not calling plays?

It's honestly so bizarre. He looks so lost in the first half of games so often. He doesn't appear to read the field and then also holds onto the ball forever. But in the 2nd half, something just clicks and he takes command. Similar to how he was in college? Just a truly clutch QB (I didn't even think that existed TBH).Im trying to be honest here and ask myself which other QBs would I rather have than Hurts:
Mahomes
Healthy Rodgers
Trevor Lawrence maybe
Close, but NOT Tua
Prolly not Herbert
Not Purdy - not quite sure about him yet
So yea, maybe I am talking out both sides of my mouth, but even though there are only like 2.5 QBs I would rather have than Hurts, I still don't think he is HOF amazing yet. I just want to see him read the defense better both pre-snap and post-snap. He doesn't handle blitzing well, and teams will figure out how to stop his legs. Heck, for like 3 quarters Buf defense had his number.

They need to figure out why they don't play well in the first half of games.

Was going to post something similar. I’m certain this franchise has robbed me of 10 good years since I’ve been a fanAt this rate, I may just check the score to see how much they win by. Watching in real time is not good for my health.

To answer your question, I'm taking Mahomes over him and that's it. The list ends there. Purdy may get there but I need to see how the rest of the year plays out.
What? I read that as "he wasn't able to on the field (it was probably chaos), but went out of his way to find him and shake his hand"Man this coach is so classless
Nick Sirianni was not able to shake the hand of Sean McDermott on the field because of the wild overtime walkoff TD but he made sure he went into the Bills locker room after the game with Howie Roseman to shake Sean’s hand
Yeah I know your stance on Purdy. I'm 180 degrees on the opposite end of the spectrum. Many of your critiques of Purdy were similar critiques of Hurts during his rookie year. If Hurts has the "it" factor, Purdy has it in spades. Let's see how the season plays out. It's honestly so bizarre. He looks so lost in the first half of games so often. Purdy is exactly the type of QB that doesn't scare me in the playoffs, because you don't have to worry about him using his legs so you don't need to account for him. You saw tonight, the Bills were in a ton of 3rd and longs and Allen's mobility extended drives for the Bills. But a guy like Tua, you can drop the extra guy in coverage and it give the pass rush an extra second to get home.
My critiques of Hurts weren't that he lacks arm strength and mobility. For Hurts, my critiques were he needed to read defenses better and have better touch on his passes. He's improved in those areas by leaps and bounds. Hurts issues were mostly between the ears. Purdy's issues are physical. He isn't going to wake up tomorrow and be any faster or throw any harder.
Having an athletic QB is nice but it's not everything. That's "classless"?Man this coach is so classless
Nick Sirianni was not able to shake the hand of Sean McDermott on the field because of the wild overtime walkoff TD but he made sure he went into the Bills locker room after the game with Howie Roseman to shake Sean’s hand
Yeah, I'm not 100% sold on Purdy's measurables and think he makes too many questionable choices, but dudes a gamer like Hurts with ice in his veins. This is a legit issue and my biggest fear in seasons to come. Driscoll flat out stunk and of course the play calling did him no favors. Curious if Steen can play tackle at either side, otherwise they need to find something in the draft. Free agent tackles are too expensive since they're so hard to find quality ones. We've been spoiled for decades.Eagles really need to figure out lane Johnson issue meaning when he’s out we need a capable replacement. Maybe start thinking in terms of back up QB type but with lane older I wouldn’t mind an OT early in the draft especially sandwiched between two DB picks. Or the very least a capable vet back up in FA and draft a guy later Stout can develop. It’s scary how bad this team is or looks when Lane isn’t out there
He was being sarcastic. That's "classless"?Man this coach is so classless

That's awesome. Now can we not fall behind by double digits anymore?Jalen Hurts now has 8 consecutive wins when trailing by double digits. No other QB in league history has ever had a streak more than 4.
Not much injury luckTo be fair, the team has benefited from a fair amount luck this year, but at the same time, they do a lot of things to keep themselves in a position to benefit from luck.

BG has quietly become my favorite Eagle behind Dawk.Yesterday Brandon Graham became the all-time leader in games played as an Eagle, passing David Akers. I predict his record will be broken by Jake Elliott.
