That whole last minute of ball was inexcusable, infuriating, and just plain dumb on all accounts. And it will all be forgotten by the weekend.Garland from 40 feet says good night (after some really seriously questionable ref calls to get this game tied)
They've been great since your post.I clearly motivated the Wolves to play better.
Not sure if that's more depressing for the franchise or impressive for Edwards.Ant, age 23, is now tied for the most 40 point games in T-Wolves history while also being the all-time team leader in three pointers.

Lakers send Knecht, Reddish, unprotected 2031 1st and a 2030 1st swap to Charlotte for Mark Williams
Seems like a lot for Williams. Not thrilled about this one.

Karma for trading for Butler.

The Hornets got more draft capital for Mark Williams than the Mavs got for Luka lol.
Maybe it worked on Charlotte?I mean, LeBron was flat-out boasting -- full of **** or not -- about how they snagged this guy while the rest of the league was sleeping. Funny stuff.
Are there any players left to trade today?

Williams has shown flashes but had a lot of injuries. I've lamented that the Hornets young core has been too injured to play many games together and truly evaluate. I guess they've seen enough on Mark.Lakers send Knecht, Reddish, unprotected 2031 1st and a 2030 1st swap to Charlotte for Mark Williams

Terrible move. They could have just signed him in the offseasonIngram to Raps. Nice acquisition by them.
I guess the Lakers' rationale must be that, with Luka, all their picks for the next seven years are going to be at the bottom of the first round. That's a much safer assumption than it was last week but still pretty risky. Almost no one trades unprotected picks these days for non-star players.Williams has shown flashes but had a lot of injuries. It's funny because he was getting absolutely roasted for his effort against the Wizards a couple days ago. Obviously going to have some fun stats with his size and ability on the offense. Wish him the best, but like the return.
Really hammers home two points at once, imo.Not sure if that's more depressing for the franchise or impressive for Edwards.Ant, age 23, is now tied for the most 40 point games in T-Wolves history while also being the all-time team leader in three pointers.
How? They have a lot of big contracts. https://www.spotrac.com/nba/toronto-raptors/yearlyTerrible move. They could have just signed him in the offseasonIngram to Raps. Nice acquisition by them.

The Raptors making a win now move for Ingram for a first rounder for a player that they could have signed in 5 months,
Sign and trade with New Orleans in the offseason. Or dump Quickley, Or find a home for Poeltl. Plenty of ways to get Ingram if they really wanted him. But the bigger point is why? Ingram is not good enough to move them into contention and if they max him, well they will be regretting that the moment it is signedThe Raptors making a win now move for Ingram for a first rounder for a player that they could have signed in 5 months,
Moops mentioned this too but I don’t see it. Spotrac has them at $13.5 million maximum cap space and that’s after dumping Olynyk in the trade.
More like I don’t really understand all the new apron business and the like. Same as nil making ncaa all about money grabs for players.Want to explain this a little more? The NBA is starting to lose me much in the same way college football did with NIL money.
Just like a cocaine high, Heat Culture isn't sustainable and the crash off of it leaves you feeling empty and gross.
I had no idea that awful team had that much salary earmarked for next year. I really don't understand their roster but at least they finally have an honest to goodness 3 rather than playing SGs at SF after trading OG last year. The fit of Ingram with what they had, other than him being SF sized, is terrible. The Raptors making a win now move for Ingram for a first rounder for a player that they could have signed in 5 months,

Not sure those deals (plus Olynk) were easily dump-able. There's so much bad salary on that team. One of the worst situations in the league IMO.Sign and trade with New Orleans in the offseason. Realized that Charlotte also has Dallas' top 2 protected pick in 2027. I'm more bullish on how they look with AD than most, but that only would take an injury or two in their older core to be valuable in a competitive West.I guess the Lakers' rationale must be that, with Luka, all their picks for the next seven years are going to be at the bottom of the first round. Vucevic seems primed to move. The Lakers were a good destination before their trade with Charlotte. Are there any players left to trade today?

Denver would be a nice place. Vooch seems willing to be Jokic's backup with no complaints. I don't know how the salaries would match up.
