Don’t think he had signed at the time. Also Jalen Johnson was announced after this. How do you leave Sengun off this list!Apparently everyone was waiting on moody in order to break the rookie extension logjam…
Murphy
Suggs
Green
Kispert
I agree that waiting on giddey makes sense, but it’s a little curious that they seemingly valued him so highly in the trade and then didn’t extend himHe's got A LOT to prove this season. The Bulls and Josh Giddey did not reach an extension. Giddey is looking for 30M a year. Murphy at 4 years/112M is 28 per year.Apparently everyone was waiting on moody in order to break the rookie extension logjam…
Murphy
Maybe not such an excessive request from Giddey.
No shot I'd have given him 30/mil right now. He's shown to be a liability on both ends so far (w/o the ball and defensively). He's going to have every opportunity to stuff the stat sheet in Chicago. I still don't think that'll parlay to a $30m/yr long term deal unless he morphs into a player able to play off ball some and starts defending. He just turned 22 so I guess it's still possible. Even on a team with Lavine/Coby White/Buzelis/Vuc, he's going to have to play off ball some.
I am surprised how good Lonzo Ball looks so far after almost 3 years away from the court. He never relied on his athleticism but he definitely still looks like he belongs on an NBA court. He's looked very confident shooting from deep.

I think you need to show us your rooster in the thread.Speaking of fantasy... anyone wanna do a "rate my team" on the roster I compiled while having several cocktails on Sunday afternoon? I can DM it to you as to not clog up this thread![]()

Was lazy today. I’ll kick this off tomorrow.Ok I’ll start a draft/auction thread tomorrow and we can figure out the nerdy details there.

SG - Edwards, Murray, Hield, Mathurin, Klay
SF - Banchero, Sochan, Amen Thompson
PF - Towns
C - Allen, Jackson-Davis
My main issue is balancing "who to start", because by the end of the season I always run out of games to be played. I know to always "start my studs" but it's the fringe players I have trouble figuring out when to plug them in.
And it's funny, I've been doing fantasy football for SOOOO long, but I actually cut my teeth in fantasy sports doing fantasy basketball. But I was always in leagues where there were no stupid "game limits". I was actually in a neat little email string with a guy on ESPN.com... I think his name was Jefferson George? His piece was called String Music and I'd frequently get quoted or have my question(s) in his article. So I go wayyyy back, just haven't been as into it (as compared to football... 20+ leagues...).
Wait I actually looked at it and you have Edwards. Terrible.
Joe Mazzulla was asked if he feels any pressure to maximize the Celtics window.
His response: “We're all gonna be dead soon, and it really doesn't matter anymore, so there's 0 pressure.”

I haven’t played fantasy bball in a million years, but I have a hard time figuring out what sochan brings to the table. I guess maybe some rebounds but his shooting percentage seems like it would be way worse than other guys who can board
we are back someone give me a hot take or two take that to the bank brohans
I am becoming more and more aligned with the old-man take that TOO MANY THREE POINTERS ARE RUINING THE GAME OF BASKETBALL!!!!!we are back someone give me a hot take or two take that to the bank brohans
The record of 29 made 3's is on the horizon. The Knicks shooting 60% and losing by 30 is mind boggling.

Marquette's very own Tyler Kolek is shooting 100% from 3-pt on the season.we are back someone give me a hot take or two take that to the bank brohans

Rui Hachimura on his aggressive play tonight:Three quarters into the first game and I can safely say that we will let the Knicks have Julius Randle back. Fred of charge. What a lazy ***.
“Just standing” might be an understatement. Opening night. New team. New teammates. At the Lakers. On national television. Dude didn’t give a flying F.Rui Hachimura on his aggressive play tonight:Three quarters into the first game and I can safely say that we will let the Knicks have Julius Randle back. Fred of charge. "We talked about Julius Randle, He sometimes is just standing and stuff. So we talked about, we got to kind of use that. I know I can be the screener. I can be in the corner to kind of attack the rim.”
Healthy and rested AD is just a different animal. IST repeat coming? The Lakers looked like a different team last night. The acquisition of Bronny is already paying off![]()
i like the way bronny had a sweet missed layup and an even sweeter missed three and who can forget that one rebound that was off the chart is it black momba part two or what take that to the bank bromigos

My favorite part was Lebron's post game interview: "it's not given to you...you gotta earn every moment"
Bronny:![]()
