2024 College Football Thread: Ohio State advances to play unbeaten hypothetical SEC team (2 Viewers)

Wow. Jack Sawyer sure had a lot of energy in that pre-game scrum. Maybe he should use more of that in big games. #0-4 #nogoldpants #extendRyanDay

I’ll take that for 5-12, that was entertaining.
For a Clemson team that wasn’t that good this year, they at least battled back. Sucks that they ran two **** plays at the 1 and got a needless blindside block that turned a TD into a FG. That’s an easy 10 points. I don’t think they would have won as their run D was atrocious, but it would have made a more interesting last few minutes.

I still wish Dabo would use the portal and I hope Garrett Riley doesn’t keep sucking so bad at key times. They need a punter who can kick more than 30 yards and it will be nice to see the young RBs rather than plodder Mafah. I think they will have a really good team next year. It was a fun watch at least, especially since I took my boys and nephew to the ACC championship and had seats in the end zone with all the score and GW FG.

Crazy that two of the best 3 teams in the country will be facing each other in the quarterfinals. I am calling it now, whoever wins the Rose Bowl will win the National Championship.

Well these games sucked, but at least betting against SMU and Tennessee was easy money. Just wish I hadn't let this thread make me doubt my conviction a bit and bet half of my original intent. Still good money though.

Can we reduce the playoff to 8 teams next year?
Either ASU and Clemson are getting in (if conference champions do) or Tennessee and Indiana still get in.
Ohio St @ Texas, winner gets Georgia
Notre Dame @ Penn St, winner gets Oregon
Works this year. Next year when there's 5 or 7 good teams people will want it changed again. Besides, no one is agreeing to leaving conference champs out until the SEC and Big Ten just break away from everyone else and form their own tournament.

6 usually works out pretty well and no matter what is done there will always be people unhappy.

That was a BS call he was in mid air tackling him as the QB threw it like he should done what ? Fell on him too hard what was he supposed to do ?
