And just my opinion, but college football is more interesting with a good USC team in the mix - gives the haters a villain to root against. I think we can all admit that it wasn’t a whole lot of fun rooting against Clay Helton’s USC.

He has a cannon and is very athletic, so you can see the upside. Hasn't seemed to progress as a QB otherwise though.

He was not. It wasn't awful, but it wasn't noteworthy. I've watched *A LOT* of Oregon State football over the years and they've had some pretty decent QBs....Derrick Anderson was good, Matt Moore, Sean Manion was solid. DJ doesn't approach the conversation of memorable Beaver slingers.

He's overrated. Howitzer of an arm. No touch...... occasionally he makes a throw where you go "oh, I see why he was a 5*".....and he's huge. Not much of a runner, but he can drag a few defenders for a first down. He does seem like a nice kid. I'm not sad that he moved on from OSU.
