Oh and Jeanty is the Heisman. No one including hunter is close imo. But Hunter going to win it somehow.
On a four loss team?

Yeah that one is still baffling. We’d boat race them now.Yup. They were scarlet and gold and call themselves Southern Cal for some reason.Notre Dame now getting penalized for being mean to Army. Sack on 4th down is called roughing when nothing was wrong with it.
Comically bad officiating again this week
you guys have the Coast Guard next week?
Just imagine how much trash you could talk if Notre Dame didn't actually lose to Northern Illinois Univeraity.
lol no. Jeanty is next level. Hunter is a cool story but what Jeanty is doing hasn’t been done since Barry. This is a really bad take. Hunter is like 90% as good as Jeanty on offense (at least) and he's also one of the best corners in the country.Oh and Jeanty is the Heisman. No one including hunter is close imo. Christ I hope not. And I’m a huge Oregon honk…but it’s Jeanty AINECOh and Jeanty is the Heisman. No one including hunter is close imo. But Hunter going to win it somehow.

Of course Barry Sanders played for a real team against real teams in a real conference.lol no. Jeanty is next level. Yeahhhhhh these refs gotta get suspended for that one. Even the ref in the booth who is usually a homer for his former peers was like yea man idkWhat in the world was that? Bama probably gonna lose anyway but that VERY late flag was REALLY sketchy
Step up from Mercer.Very nervous about this game with OK. Alabama is 0-2 vs human mascots this year. Great defense for OK and a very tough environment to play in.
The take industry is salivating over the amount of 3 loss SEC teams
So your take is that if Jeanty played for OU or any other ‘name’ Power 4 team, you’d feel differently? It’s because he plays in the MWC?Of course Barry Sanders played for a real team against real teams in a real conference.lol no. Jeanty is next level. That's fine. You can double down. But you look absolutely ridiculous. It's not a real conversation lol.
My take is he'd have far fewer yards and TDs of he played for and against better teams. So your take is that if Jeanty played for OU or any other ‘name’ Power 4 team, you’d feel differently? I hope for your sake I’m misunderstanding because it’s the best college football player, right? Not just the Power 4 teams, right? Maybe I missed that. #shrug

The best football player is the guy who is one of the five best on one side of the ball AND one of the best on the other side of the ball.
How many passes did he defend, snaps did he play, yards did he allow, interceptions did he make, tackles did he make, and fumbles did he force on defense too? Was it zero?My take is he'd have far fewer yards and TDs of he played for and against better teams. So your take is that if Jeanty played for OU or any other ‘name’ Power 4 team, you’d feel differently? Counterpoint: He played the #1 team in the country and had 177 yards, 3 TDs and a 7.7 YPC. Don't get too comfortable in your confidence you have this one correct, sir.
Congrats, better team won. May be the most underwhelming preparation I've seen by Alabama since Mike Dubose.BOOOOOOOOOMMMEEEEEEERRRRRRR
If Miami loses I think it's them so we get Cam Ward in the playoffs. If SMU loses, let the politicking begin...I'm sure more upsets will happen next weekend but who gets the last playoff spot as of today?
B1G: Oregon, Ohio St, Penn St, and Indiana
SEC: Texas, Georgia, and Tennessee
ACC: Champ
Big 12: Champ
Other: Notre Dame and Boise
Is #12 the Miami/SMU loser, the Clemson/South Carolina winner, or Alabama or Ole Miss as 3-loss SEC teams?
Yep they have to play an extra game but they should have a much easier QuarterfinalIt might be shaping up that the LOSER of the B10CG might have the best road in the playoffs. Crazy. Reseed each round!
The joke is you making an opening statement of "He'd have fewer yards and tds if he played for and against better teams". That was your first sentence. How many passes did he defend, snaps did he play, yards did he allow, interceptions did he make, tackles did he make, and fumbles did he force on defense too? Come on this has to be Joke
Ok but he’d also presumably have a better offensive line and qb around him too. This argument just doesn’t go one way.My take is he'd have far fewer yards and TDs of he played for and against better teams.
The expanded playoffs are making so many of these games more important. I wonder if the ratings are following
This is a Boomer Boomer Sooner comment. Also: absolutely embarrassing to storm the field at all, much less early. OU doesn't storm the field, people who beat us storm the field. Just sad that the current students haven't experienced the level for excellence we expect.
+4000 (40-1)Y'all with gambling accounts what's SMU odds to win it all.
Your list is exactly where I think we’re at as well. BTW usc is more dangerous than people think and I’m not sure ND could withstand a loss.I'm sure more upsets will happen next weekend but who gets the last playoff spot as of today?

Your last point is why I don't think ND needs to beat USC, that head to head over A&M looms large, especially considering how strong ND has been playing. I'm sure they covet a home game though.Your list is exactly where I think we’re at as well. One possible place that last bid could go? TEXAM has a least a shot to beat Texas and Georgia back to back.

It's odd but I would rather have SMU than IndianaYour list is exactly where I think we’re at as well. BTW usc is more dangerous than people think and I’m not sure ND could withstand a loss.I'm sure more upsets will happen next weekend but who gets the last playoff spot as of today?

Oof, RIGHT?!?! Yikes.I'm planting my flag now - 5 SEC teams (out of 7 possible SEC/at large spots) in the 12 with 2.5 weeks left to go.
Georgia (wins out, loses in SEC championship), Texas (loses to A&M), Tenn (wins out, not in SEC champ), Alabama (wins out, beats GA in SEC champ), Ole Miss (wins out, not in SEC champ). If I have the scenarios right, ND has to lose to Army and A&M loses to Auburn. Would rather see South Carolina but hard to see how it happens with the SMU/BYU duo.
This post aging like unpasteurized milk.
Buh-bye Ole Miss. Lol
I don't think USC will beat ND but unless they pummel them I think ND stays in the top 12. Will be curious Tuesday night to see if Clemson and SC are ranked ahead or below Alabama and Ole Miss. The winner of that game will get another quality win where Alabama and Ole Miss play teams with losing records this week. I think the SMU/Miami loser has the last spot as of today but if that game is a blowout, I doubt the loser keeps that spot.Your list is exactly where I think we’re at as well. Someone is gonna ask the question soon why do these CG when you have two candidates coming in and one going out. What other incentive is there ($)I think Mia can loss ACCCG and still get in but not so sure SMU can afford another loss. If SMU losses then there will be a debate
