2024 College Football Thread: Ohio State advances to play unbeaten hypothetical SEC team (3 Viewers)

college football is the greatest
Blows away the NFL badly these days.
No.
Please…..the NFL has been utter trash this season….worst season I think I have ever seen in my 50 years of watching NFL football.

Watered down sterile crap for the most part.

Thank god the post season is here because the regular season was trash.
no
Let me know how you feel after the Eagles game
drunk, probably. possibly have to post it after i make bail.

If you are an Ohio State hater you better really be pulling for Texas tomorrow.

Texas is going to get throttled.
You think that Texas defense is just gonna lay down?

I don’t think so.

Tell me the dollar amount you'd like to wager and I'll commit to it, up to $500. Can hold it in escrow here.
I said Texas’s defense is not gonna lay down….I did not say Texas will win.

The issue with Texas is will their offense again leave their defense on the field too long.

OSU should win…..but if Texas shows up on offense it should be a competitive game.

I don’t feel strongly one way or the other….but I lean to this being closer than a throttling.

The spread is not enticing either. So I will pass on making a bet…..just too tough to call.

But you sound like you are backing the truck up and laying 6

Wow. Thought for sure that’d be a hold. That lineman tore his pec in summer ball and this is his first game this year

The PSU QB can barely complete a ten yard pass and his team is arguably one of the best in the NCAA. Meanwhile, the NFL just had one of its best draft classes in history (looks like we may have six viable starters drafted, Bowers, Nabers, and Thomas look like studs for years to come, Verse is incredible, and the OTs all hit) and Lamar, Allen, and Barkley had other-worldly seasons and teams like the Lions, Chiefs, Bills and, to a lesser extent the Ravens, Vikings, and Eagles are all playing great football each week.

Don't get me wrong, this college game is exciting and entertaining, but your subjective opinion that the college game is greater than the NFL is objectively wrong. With the NIL and player movement, the college game in the minor leagues to the NFL's major league.

Agree. College football these days is fun mostly because so many of the players are so bad that crazy stuff happens. Look at this quarterbacking in this game. Just gross.

Penn State ran the ball well all night. And even with ND having to account for that Allar could not make one single throw the whole game. They just needed one. Not even a great throw. A 3 yard pass back in the first quarter that he threw anywhere but at the back of the receiver's knee against his momentum was all it took.
