2024 Philadelphia Eagles - First one was for the fans. This one was for the team. Next one is for the legacy. (9 Viewers)

With all the accomplishments and records this team may go down as one of the best in NFL history. Crazy to think that I still think we could be better.

After all the backlash during the season we did get to see what it looks like when this team comes together. No one individually has to be the hero, just ball out.

I always heard CB is the hardest position to learn in the NFL, so its safe to assume we haven't even scratched the surface of the potential of Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean yet to be unlocked...same goes for:

Nolan Smith
Jalen Carter
Jalyx Hunt
Jeremiah Trotter JR

Anyone have any suggestions for fun longshot bets / parlays for the game today? One that I found and put a couple bucks on was Saquon first carry for a TD boosted to +6650. May throw a few bucks on some longshot anytime or first TD scorers. Haven’t found a bet for a missed XP yet. :bag:
I felt like Slim Reaper 70+ rec yards was a good one to combo with Eagles ML and the over. He’s never caught less than 90 yards against KC.

Jalen Carter MVP at +7000

I had a decent chunk of winnings from last week so I made a ton of $5-10 parlays. Drunkenly made this one to use up my last $65 in winnings a few nights ago.

Eagles ML- Hit
Over 48.5 - Hit
Saquon 40 rec yards - Hit
Jalen 250 passing yards - missed by 29 yards
Davonta 70 rec yards - missed by 1 yard
AJ, Hurts, Barkley & Worthy anytime TD Hit 3 of 4. Saquon inexplicably didn't score a TD.

Pays $100k. Pray for mojo.
I came damn close to hitting this and winning $100k. If the Chiefs played a little but better and kept it close I probably would have won.
I was thinking of you when the stats and TD's were piling up. I liked the approach and did something similar but more conservative for a $5 parlay that would have paid around $400. I had Saquon rec at 12.5, Jalen pass at 210.5, Devonta rec at 51.5. Added Mahomes Int and Saquon over 75 rush (MISS!). My anytime TD's were Saquon (MISS!), Jalen, and AJ. So if Saquon would have broke a 20 yard TD it would have been a hit. I'm not complaining though, Go Birds! 🦅

We have to find a way to bring these 3 guys back, in order, bolded IMO is a sure fire re signing b/c logic

Zack Baun
Milton Williams
Slay
I get the money is an issue for Slay but if he can rework his deal and have 1 more go at it, I'd love Slay to stick around and help these young guys through that softmore slump most players get.

Absolute destruction. A finesse team met the more physical team that was the #1 defense in the NFL. This is the fall of a current dynasty and the beginning of the next. Feel free to argue w me why I’m wrong. #1 defense, #1 youngest defense, just started a SB against the *greatest* QB of all time (read right now) 34-0 w 3 min left in the 3rd Q. One of the greatest upset + beatdowns of all time in sports history.

Go Birds!
We have no chance of keeping together the front 7 together.

Yeah BG is done and I think Sweat will go as well. The good part there is that you can ideally slide Smith and Hunt into those spots. Similarly you could slot Ojomo into Williams’ position. Depth becomes an issue obviously

Nick Sirianni is the fourth NFL head coach to lead their team to an 18+ win season (including playoffs), joining Bill Belichick (2007), Bill Walsh (1984) and Mike Ditka (1985).

Nick Sirianni is the first Super Bowl Era head coach to make four straight playoff appearances with two Super Bowl berths and a championship in their first four career seasons.

We need to draft lanes succcessor. Another wr and pass rusher.

Really curious about who the OC will be too

I think Howie will keep making some crazy plays, great draft picks, and there is nothing inside of me that will doubt this does not happen, + the attraction this place is for FA's you're going to see older vets coming here on the cheap chasing rings that still got a lot left in the tank. The Howie Record since 2016+ speaks for itself and all we can do is sit back and hope/wonder/speculate and eventually celebrate the moves he eventually will make. What a great place to be as an Eagles fan. I really truly believe this is the start of the best years we we will ever see in our lifetimes...buckle up!!!

2x Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles.

Wow.

I'd like to resign Dotson if he's willing.

Baun is the key. Edge rushers and DTs are dime a dozen.

Just bought my Q Mitchell SB jersey and some other stuff for me and the wife. My impulse control is low when it comes to SB swag. I'm sure we'll waste more money once merch hits the local stores.

About to drop a ton of money. Those white superbowl unis are fire

Aside from some of the draft picks during that time, the silver lining about going through the Chip Kelly years is that Stoutland came to us during his regime. The Pederson and Sirianni teams likely don't achieve what they did without him.

Chip Kelly is also responsible for putting that Nick Foles RPO offense on tape for the Pederson to replicate later

I promised to buy a Hurts jersey if he won us a Super Bowl. I’ll be getting that and a Dejean white, as well as a Barkley one for my uncle who is a huge eagles fan with me, but a lone PSU fan without me

That was his assistants Reich and Defillipoo who did that. Doug told them you guys have a week to figure out how to get this right. When you do let me know and implement it into the offense. Doug really didn’t do much other than supervise the the situation

IMO key pending free agents would be guys like Oren Burks, Driscoll, affordable ppl that have played that aren’t going to hopefully be too expensive. I would love to keep sweat baun and Milton but I don’t the eagles being able to afford them. I wonder how much value in a franchise and trade scenario but idkkk

Jason Kelce should come back to make that dead money worth it jeez

Sure but he gets the credit for being head coach

Howie is by far the best salary cap wizard in the league. He has to find a way to keep Baun, and I'm confident he will. I suspect most of Sweat, Williams and Slay will walk, but we have DL talent in the pipeline, and maybe we can find Slay's replacement in the draft.

I think all.those guys are gone for sure

Am I mistaken? There seems to be a lot of "firsts" and records set during their dominant season AND lots of the same during their dominant playoff run AND their completely dominant destruction of the Chiefs in the Super Bowl, no?

Be nice to have it all in one post or spot. I can not keep track of them all.

It's important to note that with all the talk (even outside the Shark Pool) about Hurts being a game manager, Trent Dilfer comparisons, etc., none of these Super Bowl QB stats and milestones that are being posted are lumping in Hurts with Brad Johnson, Jeff Hostetler, or Dilfer. It's all Brady, Montana, even Mahomes.

For sure. He could pay baun with sweats money I guess. There is really no one on the team getting paid top money to ask for cuts. Interested to see what howie can get through restructuring. There’s going to be some pretty good comp picks from a lot of these guys.

You also think we're going 9-8 next year because of our "tough schedule."
