2024 Philadelphia Eagles - First one was for the fans. This one was for the team. Next one is for the legacy. (15 Viewers)

Pro Bowlers
Saquon Barkley
Lane Johnson
Landon Dickerson
Cam Jurgens
Jalen Carter
Zach Baun

How does the #1 rated T according to PFF not make the Pro Bowl?
Because its a name recognition/popularity contest. Inverse reason that Jason Peters made the Pro bowl every single year, even when he was not the best tackle on the team.

But Cam Jurgens made the Pro Bowl, he doesn't have name recognition.
He stepped into a “vacant slot” (Kelce’s).

Pricing out tix for next weekend, any benefit to club level over finding the best deal 100 level?

If it’s raining, or super cold, having the climate-controlled club concourse to hang in before or during the game is better than the open air 100 level concourse.

On a reasonable weather day, the only advantages are slightly wider and padded seats and a few better food options.
Thanks! What’s best 100 level, too low it’s super expensive and hard to see but you are close to players if in the right spot….whats the sweet spot? Hitting the apps tonight, assume cost will go up once time is locked in ?

Any row on the sidelines are good. End zone and corner sections can go 40 rows deep so being far back in those aren’t the greatest view.

Availability and pricing will change for sure, once we know the opponent and additional demand for tickets. WSH has plenty of fans within driving distance and Green Bay has a bigger presence than you think. The top 3 visiting team demand in tickets I’ve seen as a season ticket holder are PIT, SF, and GB.

So any insider info on hurts status? Im fairly sure hes ok but like everyone else im concerned a bit about the rust.

Also we want to play gb dont we?

I think it's gamesmanship at this point. The concussion protocol is so loose I don't know if they have to clear him. If he's not cleared by Sunday night, Monday morning I'll be concerned.

Hope so. I think its a bit odd we havent heard much or even seen the guy. No football activities for weeks is not ideal

ESP on Go Birds said He doesn’t need to technically be cleared to practice on Wednesday. So no reason to clear him. If he’s not practicing on Wednesday then you can fire up your nail biting. If we aren’t going into the playoffs with Jalen it doesn’t matter who we play-we’re toast.

I dunno i think we can get one home game win with a backup qb

I'm thinking it has to be gamesmanship, but the fact that there is little point to it makes me hesitate. Hurts didn't look or act concussed and wanted to stay in.

A win on Sunday could drop the Giants as far as the 8th pick, and a loss could put them as high as 2nd. Our draft slot will be determined by playoff finish, so the outcome is meaningless, in that regard.

If the game is close in the 4th, we might see both teams trying their best to lose!

Really want to lose this game, that would really crush the Giants if they're wanting to go after their franchise QB.

Yeah but there's no way on Earth I could actively root for the Giants against the Eagles, regardless of the scenario. I worked last night though and am going to bed shortly. I don't HAVE to actively do anything. I'll see the score when I wake up and I don't think I'll be excited or disappointed regardless of what happens as long as no key eagles are hurt.

Was just looking at the forecast and the potential snow next Saturday. How do they do with the roads up there, will coming up through Delaware be a nightmare ?

Main roads should be fine if it's not more than a few inches. If you're coming from Delaware you just take 95 to the stadium and you'll be fine.

My gut is telling me the Eagles back-ups are going to win this game, regardless what the Giants try to do.

Personally, I would prefer all the healthy starters on both sides of the ball got some reps and, depending on game flow, maybe a couple of drives. I also fully understand Sirianni's decision here. I appreciate the decision being made and announced in a timely fashion. There really was no procrastination or farting around. I support Sirianni here.

I hope Shipley and other rarely used youngsters, get plenty of opportunities today. I'm looking forward to seeing what progress, if any, each has made during the season.

I'm hoping the Giants draft Sanders or Ward and spend the next 4 years realizing they aren't franchise QBs and are just a franchise in the toilet for the next decade looking for a viable QB.

95 will absolutely be drivable no matter how much snow we get. They'll be salting 95 non-stop.

Whoever they pick will suck.

OK, the Giants are bad right now. Haven't they suffered enough this year? Watching Saquon going to a hated rival and then blowing up for 2000+ yards while their own team collapsed inward wasnt a hellish torture?

Nah, it is never enough. They are bad now and they will continue to be bad. The future's so bright I gotta wear shades.

Our backups look good to me. Or maybe the giants are that bad

Probably a little of A and a little of B. I didn't see who was starting on the O-Line....but I think just about every Eagles D player and skill player on O (aside from the guy who caught the TD) has played non-insiginificant minutes this year.

I think we can take some solace in the idea that if we lose a player or two (aside from Saquons/AJs/Jalen/Carter and a couple of others)...it won't be a death sentence in the playoffs. The backups are good enough to not be clueless or abused and the team around them is good enough to even further hide any deficiences the player may have.

Bills locked into the 2 and losing to a div rival which could drop them big in draft position.

Identical situation for us. Pull McKee!

OK GB just lost.

I think this mean we play them no matter what happens in Wash/Dallas.

Imagine playing the Packers on a Friday AND a Saturday this year?

And packers again.
feel like we are better than we were week 1. And feel like packers are worse than they were week 1.

Shouldnt be close. I think they are the weakest team on the nfc side

Look ahead line had Eagles -3.
That's it?! No way.
