The Eagles 100% to me are dragging this out intentionally IMO, so I'm curious if its possible they already "knew" but since it wasn't official, wouldn't need to report anything. I know the concussion rules as far as 'how early' you need to report are sort of vague and I'm pretty sure they are taking advantage of a rule, a la the way they do the Tush Push.
For sure, I get that is the protocol. But my Q is more like "Can we just go to his personal DR and say "hey I had a concussion, but am I ok now" without ya know the team "knowing" but knowing. Is there anything stopping him from already getting a different/few independent neurologists to be able to give him an idea if he really will/would be cleared, before he actually officially is?Now all he needs to do is be symptom free tomorrow and he’s good to goJalen Hurts is at practice today. You have to practice and the get tested and be at your baseline after practicing.

Believe me, I'm trying but, I can't bring myself to feel bad or sad for you.I may be going to the Eagles game this weekend. For the first time since I've been a STH, my playoff tickets aren't selling.
That’s hard to believe. If you don’t mind generally more curious were you asking for face value or a little more? Hard to believe you couldn’t sell themI may be going to the Eagles game this weekend. For the first time since I've been a STH, my playoff tickets aren't selling.

I noticed the team has been releasing a lot of upper level playoff tickets the last couple of days and pricing them at the lowest resale prices, so that's been deflating the overall prices. The freezing cold (and still slight chance of snow) isn't helping, either.

I'm Mezzanine, they're the best seats, no wait for restrooms or concessions. Very visitor team friendly. Perfect view of the game, not too high, not too low.

My guess is that at the public on-sale after they clinched the dynamic pricing the team used had most of the tickets, including the lowest "get-in" ones, priced too high. That left the team with a bunch to unload this week and by the time they lowered prices demand dried up and the cold weather kept some buyers away. So they've been releasing more and lowering them all week and the STH's trying to sell had to keep going lower or risk getting stuck with them. The more people that get in at the bottom prices, the less demand there is for the mid and high priced seats, so those come down, too.
Mezzanine tickets are as low as $220 each (basically break-even after seller fees, for STHs), and there's lower level (EZ) seats already at $250 each. With the $180/each price the Eagles are listing upper levels at, STHs in those sections have to sell them for $170-175 which is a slight loss ($162 cost) to make sure they they don't get stuck with them.
This isn’t their call at all. Had last week been a normal week (without resting players) he would have been cleared last week. All signs point to him being good to go tomorrowThe Eagles 100% to me are dragging this out intentionally IMO

maybe last week but not this week. the final step can't be cleared until the day AFTER the first full practice logged by the player. No reason for any of those last week if they planned/determined they weren't gonna play him against the Giants regardless, and this morning would be the first chance this week to technically clear him. NO reason to push it either as it left outsiders with at least a smidgeon of a doubtIs there anything stopping him from already getting a different/few independent neurologists to be able to give him an idea if he really will/would be cleared, before he actually officially is?Now all he needs to do is be symptom free tomorrow and he’s good to goJalen Hurts is at practice today. I think it's probably also as simple as it meant he could skip all the usual media availability requirements the last couple weeks.NO reason to push it either as it left outsiders with at least a smidgeon of a doubt
“I’ve been in this position before with a concussion, and when you miss time, you try and find ways to get back as fast as you can. I think he did a great job of dealing with that and coming back as sharp as he did today. I thought he had a phenomenal practice."
This is a late season strategy they have done for awhile. Probably has something to do with playoff rosters or practice squad call-ups resetting, so there's roster space/maneuvering on the 53 they are trying to take advantage of to take a flyer on a cost-controlled player with potential for next season. It's how we got Boston Scott.Eagles plucked former 1st round pick Safety Lewis Cine off the Bills practice squad. Anything to see here? Another Georgia Bulldog and all...
I think Jordan Love is more banged up then the Packers are letting on. I don't think he's going to be 100% for Sunday.
Ugh. Hopefully just being careful with himAJ did not practice today, after leaving practice early yesterday. Reportedly it’s the same knee that’s been bugging him the last 4 weeks.
I suspect he’ll play, but won’t be near 100%
Could see as an open tryout for next year plus better safety depth if someone goes down. Really liked him out of college but riddled with injuries.Eagles plucked former 1st round pick Safety Lewis Cine off the Bills practice squad. Anything to see here? Another Georgia Bulldog and all...

Love that Baun got the spot. Jalen Carter not being named an All Pro is a snub. Dude is a monster.Zack Baun and Saquon Barkley, the only Eagles that are 1st Team All Pros.

How big of a deal is it for the Eagles not getting the bye and having to play in the Wild Card round?
WC round all-time: 8-11, including losing 6 of the last 7.
When avoiding the WC round: 6-1 in the divisional round, winning the last 6 straight with 4 Super Bowl appearances.

Yea. Take Detroit. Greatest season of their franchise history. Best OC they've ever had is out doing a string of interviews instead of locking in on winning a super bowl for a franchise that never has.Yeah I don't understand why they do it like this, at all.The league really needs to do move these past the SB. It makes no sense to allow this during the most important games of the year.Looks like the Jags plan to as wellPer ESPN, the New Orleans Saints have reportedly requested an interview with Eagles Offensive Coordinator Kellen Moore for their head coaching job.
There's plenty of time after the bowl to do this. Whiny loser owners want the head start though.
