The Eagles 100% to me are dragging this out intentionally IMO, so I'm curious if its possible they already "knew" but since it wasn't official, wouldn't need to report anything. I know the concussion rules as far as 'how early' you need to report are sort of vague and I'm pretty sure they are taking advantage of a rule, a la the way they do the Tush Push.

Phase 1: The player is prescribed rest, limiting or, if necessary, avoiding activities (both physical and cognitive) which increase or aggravate symptoms. Under athletic training staff supervision, limited stretching and balance training can be introduced, progressing to light aerobic exercise, all as tolerated.
Phase 2: Under direct oversight of the team’s medical staff, the player should begin graduated cardiovascular exercise and may also engage in dynamic stretching and balance training. Neurocognitive and balance testing can be administered after completion of Phase Two and the results should be interpreted as back to baseline
Phase 3: The player continues with supervised cardiovascular exercises that are increased and may mimic sport-specific activities, and supervised strength training is introduced. The player is allowed to practice with the team in sport-specific exercise for 30 minutes or less with ongoing and careful monitoring of the Protocol. [When Hurts was doing mental reps during the walkthrough last week]
Phase 4: The player continues cardiovascular, strength and balance training, team-based sports-specific exercise, and participates in non-contact football activities (e.g. throwing, catching, running, and other position-specific activities). Neurocognitive and balance testing should be completed no later than the end of Phase Four with the results interpreted as back to baseline. [Where Hurts is right now (assume this since I don't know what his participation was at practice)]
Phase 5: Upon clearance by the Club physician for full football activity involving contact, the player must be examined by the Independent Neurological Consultant (INC) assigned to his Club. If the INC concurs with the Club physician that the player’s concussion has resolved, he may participate in his Club’s next practice or game.

I noticed the team has been releasing a lot of upper level playoff tickets the last couple of days and pricing them at the lowest resale prices, so that's been deflating the overall prices. The freezing cold (and still slight chance of snow) isn't helping, either.

Bought them for $200 a piece, asking $350 a piece. I sell my regular season seats for some games for upwards of $450 a piece (those I get for about $125 face).

I'm Mezzanine, they're the best seats, no wait for restrooms or concessions. Very visitor team friendly. Perfect view of the game, not too high, not too low.

My guess is that at the public on-sale after they clinched the dynamic pricing the team used had most of the tickets, including the lowest "get-in" ones, priced too high. That left the team with a bunch to unload this week and by the time they lowered prices demand dried up and the cold weather kept some buyers away. So they've been releasing more and lowering them all week and the STH's trying to sell had to keep going lower or risk getting stuck with them. The more people that get in at the bottom prices, the less demand there is for the mid and high priced seats, so those come down, too.
Mezzanine tickets are as low as $220 each (basically break-even after seller fees, for STHs), and there's lower level (EZ) seats already at $250 each. With the $180/each price the Eagles are listing upper levels at, STHs in those sections have to sell them for $170-175 which is a slight loss ($157 cost) to make sure they they don't get stuck with them.

I have offers to sell at lower than what I have them listed at, but after fees I'd lose money so I'd rather just go see the game.

This isn’t their call at all. Had last week been a normal week (without resting players) he would have been cleared last week. All signs point to him being good to go tomorrow

Technically yes. Because he didn’t have a chance to practice because they were resting their starters it just pushed it back a week. As you know a lot of the team didn’t practice.

maybe last week but not this week. the final step can't be cleared until the day AFTER the first full practice logged by the player. No reason for any of those last week if they planned/determined they weren't gonna play him against the Giants regardless, and this morning would be the first chance this week to technically clear him. This is a late season strategy they have done for awhile. Probably has something to do with playoff rosters or practice squad call-ups resetting, so there's roster space/maneuvering on the 53 they are trying to take advantage of to take a flyer on a cost-controlled player with potential for next season. It's how we got Boston Scott.

Plenty of time. All you do is detract from the product they’re able to put on the field. I hate when this is going on, and it seems there are enough vacancies every year that the top teams are not only in the process of getting their best guys poached, but it interferes with the goal of the team they’re on at that point. It just . . . it makes no sense.
