2025 Bold Predictions (1 Viewer)

NFC: Davante Adams will return to 1st Team All-Pro.

AFC: Ashton Jeanty will bust so badly we will be comparing him--unfavorably--to Trent Richardson, Monte Ball, and Shonnnnne Greennnne.
I want no part of D. Adams this year.

I could see Stafford peppering Puka with 15+ targets and Adams owners having extremely frustrating weeks.
If he stays healthy I think Puka will lead the league in catches.
Agree.

Only issue for him is health. THey do so many quick screens to him. He gets battered more than your average WR.

Shakir catches 90 balls and finishes as a top 20 WR in PPR.

Aaron rodgers gets hurt and Rudolph’s red nose leads the Steelers to the AfC championship game.

Jeanty doesn’t live up to the hype, Egbuka wins Rookie of the Year.

Brock Bowers gets less than 100 targets and isn’t a top 5 TE.

Jayden Daniel’s becomes the first QB to throw for 4000 and rush for 1000.

Saquon breaks Dickerson’s record.

The Ravens are happy that Nip Tuck was cancelled. ARod Caves. Vegas discovers that Geno was a bad bet. Kittle, Laporta and Hockenson make Noah Fant owners wonder what the hell happened to him.

Maybe not too bold but

Everyone's preseason darling, Denver, gets 5 wins or less games as the league catches up to Nix.

Tua goes on season ending IR and McDaniels gets fired the week after.

A qb not on the currently on the roster starts 3+ games for the Colts.

Josh Allen will get hurt on a superman run and miss at least 4 games.

Tee Higgins outscores Chase in FF after finally staying healthy all year.

Cin leads the league in yards and points for and against. Five games where both teams score over 40 points.

More -
Garrett Wilson leads the league in targets with Nabers a very very close second.

Barkley regresses in all rushing and receiving stats, but gains additional TDs as the Eagles call more fakes out of the Tush Push formation. He ends up number 1rb.

CMC doesn't follow his good year/hurt year pattern and instead has another hurt year. Only this time he doesn't go on IR and you need to play a guessing game as to how many snaps he gets each week.

KC comes out slinging the ball and Mahomes starts the year on the same kind of "if he passes for X amount of yards for the rest of the season he's going to smash the record!" excitement that surrounded the start of his career. Those Miami guys wait a long time to drink champagne.

Calvin Ridley is either a top ten wr or benched by mid season. There's no middle ground.

Moss leads CIN in rushing with about 800 yds.

Jordan Love, Caleb Williams, Sam Darnold and CJ Stroud end the season with major question marks. Maye, Penix and Ward outperform. Lawrence, Murray, Herbert and Hurts stay what they are.

Rhomondre Stevenson gets cut as Antonio Gibson has a career year at a cheaper price.

Carolina goes to the playoffs as Dave Canales wins COTY.

HOU will not win the AFC South.

Winston takes over for Wilson early and Slayton/Hyatt have monster weeks as Nabers gets peppered consistently.

CLE isn't horrible and plays the AFC North tough, going 3-3.

The Chargers, Broncos and Raiders beat-up the Chiefs as Pat and Andy miss the playoffs for the 1st time together. Chargers/Raiders-Harbaugh/Carroll rekindled bigly.

Detroit is still too much for the 2nd place Vikings in the NFC North.

Calvin Austin does well in a Randall Cobb role w/ Rodgers. DK Metcalf has an Adam Lazard role. There is no Davante/Jordy here.

Allen and Fields both out-rush Hall.

*Bonus: The new NLFPA contract will allow 18 games but all Thursday/mid-week games must follow a bye week.

Westbrook-Ikhine leads Dolphins in TDs and only trails Waddle in receiving yards.

Bryce Young is in MVP discussion, finishing top 7, while Carolina battles Tampa for division title.

Puka will get enough defensive attention to make D.Adams have the easiest time he's ever had getting open with the best QB he's had in years.

Then when Puka inevitably misses 3-4 games, the uptick in targets will keep feeding the glut, just in a more familiar WR1 Davante Adams kind of way.

As long as the price stays put or drops, I will own a ton of Adams this year.

Bert Jones comes out of retirement and leads the Colts to a division title.
Extra bold.
At 73 he’s better than what they have.
I assumed you were predicting a start by a Zombie QB, which is bold, glad to hear he is still slingin it
I remember years after he retired, I believed it was Bobby Bethard, wanted to sign him. Bill Belichick called him the best passer he ever saw and that included Tom Brady.

Jameson Williams finishes second in the NFL in receiving yards.

JaMarr Chase has more than 2000 receiving yards.

Aaron Rodgers struggles and retires before midseason.

Anthony Richardson rushes for more than 1000 yards.

The Carolina Panthers will make the playoffs.

The Las Vegas Raiders finish second in the division and make the playoffs.

The Cincinnati Bengals win more games than any team in the NFL.

The Washington Commanders miss the playoffs.

Michael Mayer comes to life in Chip Kelly’s offense and finishes in the top 15 TEs

Jaylin Noel finishes the season as the Texans’ go-to WR2 ala Dell’s rookie year

Colston Loveland’s presence unlocks Cole Kmet as the go-to in the Bears offense

Travis Hunter creates Jalen Ramsey level vibes and distractions in Jax so bad they show buyer’s remorse by end of season

The Houston Texans finally overcome their woes and go into KC and beat Mahomes in the AFCCG

The Dallas Cowboys shock the world in somehow finding a way to beat the Rams in the NFCCG

Houston wins its first Super Bowl in an all-Texas showdown ; Jerruh spins the loss as a win

All four NFC North teams make the playoffs (never been done before)

Saquon finishes the season with less than 1k rushing yards (in other words, I think he gets hurt and it significantly impacts his production)

Brock Bowers breaks Ertz's receptions record

I feel the opposite, except for Puca missing a few games(he plays hard). Teams will cover Adams, he isnt getting 1on1 with some mid level CB very often.
I do think Adams is a fine pick, but Puca will eat, a lot, they get him open, McVay knows.
I am more curious how they use Ferguson at TE. How much PT, how many targets, red zone option....

AAron leads Steelers to division title and a playoff win for the first time in 9 yrs. They still lose to the better teams like KC or Buff in the next round. But AAron goes out on a higher note than in NYJ. Metcalf has career year.

Arthur Smith will heavily utilize an RBBC, diminishing the value of Kaleb Johnson, as he similarly did with Bijan Robinson in ATL his rookie year. Jaylen Warren will turn out to be the better value this year, especially early in the season.

This isn't assuming Johnson isn't his new Allgeir (sp)

1. Denver has a top 5 offense and Nix is QB5
2. The Lions miss the playoffs and Goff is terrible
3. Lamar Jackson suffers a fairly substantial injury and the Ravens miss the playoffs

Well I'm glad I can be the first in here to boldly predict this one; active board members can already predict where I'm going here lol:

Trevor Lawrence passes for 4000+ yards and 30+ TDs and finishes a top 6 QB

I'll add in a few more for fun though:

Cam Skattebo takes over the Giants backfield, finishes a top 16 RB and finishes 2nd only to Jeanty for OROTY

Brock Bowers finishes outside the top 5 TEs
and has the worst ADP vs outcome disparity in fantasy outside of injured players

Much like fans wanted Fournette benched for White, and then White benched for Bucky, this year they want Bucky benched for Tucker. Bucky finishes outside the top 20 RBs and Tucker finishes inside the top 24 RBs absolutely crushing his ADP and is considered THE sleeper/waiver pickup of the season

Bryce Young takes another step forward, but rather than Tet being the spark the offense needed, it's their TE. Tet is a disappointment and misses his low end WR2 ADP expectation. Meanwhile Ja'Tavion Sanders blows by TE29 ADP and finishes a top 10 TE.

Ricky Pearsall finishes a top 20WR
not only becoming the feature receiver in SFs offense while Aiyuk is out, but he never cedes the role back even when Aiyuk returns. His ADP goes from round ~7 WR45 this year to round 3 ~WR23 next year.

Cowboys not only make the playoffs, but win in the playoffs for the first time since 2022. Dak is named comeback player of the year.

Rome Odunze leads the Bears in receptions and yardage. DJ Moore is phased out of the offense by mid-season and creates drama via sideline antics/negative quotes in the press/requesting a trade
