I'm wondering if he could be a FS. I'd love to see him patrolling centerfield.
He'd primarily be a WR but he'd also play a 'limited' role as a CB. Defenders have to prepare for the entire offensive packages they'd face to learn tendencies, but a WR can step-in and play without knowing the entire offense.
You'd NEVER force a player who would be stretched to the brink to also learn a new position. Add, his best trait as a defender is man so he's a natural CB with great ball skills so he 'could' be a safety but he's best suited as a CB.
Another honk for Travis Hunter as the top player of this draft came out hours ago. I'd quibble about the 'mega size' comment, but he is an ultra-athlete.
NFL Draft prospects 2025: Updated big board of top 200 players overall, ranked by position
1. Travis Hunter, CB/WR Colorado (6-0, 188 pounds)
He's the unique "freak" of next year's class with his mega size and athleticism that makes him a strong cover man and almost equally adept receiver when called upon, which happened more often later in the Buffaloes' season.
