We are also trading a 7th round pick to JAX to bring Fred Johnson back and improve their swing tackle depth.

All 3 trades this preseason are addressing needs that they tried to fill with the players on the current roster, but didn’t see that pan out.

I love this move. I kinda had this in the back of my mind as a possibility. A 7th is a great investment in getting him back.

Well…. If they gave him up for a 7 they were going to cut him. So he can’t be very good.

All I can say is that the guy was good in the Eagles’ system but got an offer that was more than the Eagles wanted to pay during FA, but the Eagles are 32 in the waiver line now and they do need some OL depth help, so
