2025 Philadelphia Eagles - Don’t think we needed proof this was unsustainable, but we certainly got it. (39 Viewers)

Hurts throwing the ball 39 times is not a recipe for this team to win. Especially when you had a big lead. Run the damn ball.
I’ve said for awhile hurts needs to stay in the 25 attempts maybe 30 max range with a few designed carries. Run the ball the other times

Have you seen us try to run the ball? We get like 1 yard runs constantly. Thatz no bueno

AJ had 5 catches for 67 yds and a TD in the first qtr. He didn't get another pass until the 4th qtr.
Yep. The strategy is to hide the OC and have Vic and Company save you. Everything after that seemed like they were trying to milk the clock and when they did get a big gainer penalties kicked in.

On that note, I’m not a blame the refs type of fan but some calls are just shockingly poor all around the league. I feel like whenever I want to just watch any team play they show up with what feels like a series of bad calls.

The penaties killed every second half drive we had. Seemed like they had an agenda to tighten up the game in the second half. Im not a big ref blamer either but it was kinda ridiculous. Took away an int from us as well. Saw carter getting held a bunch of times. Never got one holding call.

Blaming refs is a loser mentality.

Refs overall have been abysmal for at least 10 years.

No consistency literally whatsoever
The shocking part is it’s not even close to NBA refs bad

Bigsby looks fine behind the line. Try mixing in a two back rotation. Give Barkleyv15 carries and Bigsby 5-7.

Good teams find a way to combat bad calls by officials

This was something brought up weeks ago but said again

A glaring issue with the Eagles offense is the operations.

Play gets to Hurts with 15 seconds on play clock, he goes to wristband and finishes reading with 10 seconds left.

Get up to the line, point out Mike, adjust protection, and snap it just before clocks hits 0, allowing the front 4 to get a tremendous jump almost every time while also causing lots of offensive penalties.

This was identified very early on in season and hasn’t gotten any better.

:lmao:
Trolling the team thread wow. Congrats on the Superbowl, I mean your teams Superbowl. But let’s be better than this if you come back.

The #Eagles offense -- since bye week

Offensive PPG -- 15.7 (25th in #NFL)
YPG -- 301.7 (24th)
YPC -- 3.5 (26th)
Red zone -- 57.1% (12th)
Third down conversion -- 37.2% (17th)
Third-and-short conversion (3-or-less yards) -- 37.5% (27th)
3-and-out rate -- 41.2% (26th)

While the offense deserves criticism, you guys seem to be letting the defense off the hook. They were not good yesterday and I think they are more to blame for the loss than the offense. This was not the same defense that played the Lions, not even close.

They looked pretty good first half. Eventually your offense goes 3 and out enough, you get gassed. Its not like Dallas has a bad offense.

Madden Cover Curse is very real folks
Super bowl hangover is real. Saquon is a great player but doing every commercial, going to every party, taking the victory lap hard, listening to the team saying to step back in off-season prep has made him come in with no edge this year.

I don't know if he can find it now but he better. He's erasing all the good will from last year that people built up for him. It was thought he'd be a lock for HOF but now it's looking like 1 year wonder again. Maybe that wakes him up.

I think the reality is that the guy was approaching 500 touches last year. That is just an avalanche of hits/tackles on anyone's body. Combine that with the fact that our starting oline has played and finished exactly one game this year and the guys that ARE playing are playing poorly and you get what we've been seeing. Its a disaster.
