2025 Philadelphia Eagles - Totally normal things happening. (60 Viewers)

The 2 greatest words in the English language. De Fault! De Fault!

We might win this division by default. Or who knows. Maybe the Giants win it. This year makes no sense.

Thinking about this more

Re the Z Smith retirement:

Who knows more?

Fangio and whether Z Smith still had it (by snap count cuts it appears he does not believe so)

Or

Z Smith and whether the Eagles still have it, just being on the team a few weeks.

Trying to cope here for sure but I’d say Vic prob was like “yeah, he done” and that’s that

I don’t wanna rain on your copium parade, but he’s the sack leader on the team at 1.5.

He might not be the player he was even last year (hard to gauge from the last game) but with Nolan out, no way are they sitting the best-performing EDGE on the team.

He either is feeling beat up physically after 2 games in 5 days, or he’s deflated that the Eagles don’t look like the Super Bowl favorites they were being touted as.

Here’s the thing, when Z came here and was doing interviews he was adamant that he was fresh and ready to play. He made a point to talk about how he only played 1 year of High School ball, and had less wear on the tires.

That leads me to think the atmosphere in the locker room is bad. Like, “I’d rather retire than stay and collect my money to deal with a losing, toxic, dramatic locker room” kinda bad.

There’s enough talent on the team to make the playoffs, and make a decent run at another Chapionship. But if the locker room is lost, which is starting to look more and more possible, then I wouldn’t even count on playoffs.

A couple wins and the bye week would go a long way to turning the outlook on this team.

It’s fine. Just he sake production hasn’t been there this year and STILL Fangio said “nah we good”

Not that it means a ton really, we still have a lack of depth at CB, Edge and that’s not changing soon.

CJGJ cut by the Ravens. Yea he's got some **** going on.
Agent and him Asked to be cut from their practice squad. Ravens traded for a safety last week. CJ signed hoping to get a chance at safety from the PS. So really he only left the PS wasn’t a 53 man guy. Scheftar reported it was mutual by team and player. Agent said they asked for CJ to be cut and Baltimore obliged

The safety they traded for in Gilleman played The opposite side of the Kyle Hamilton at ND if I remember correctly. Both played well together.

Yep. Upset a team with me playing DB brought in a new DB so he “wanted a clearer path at playing time”.

Fowler: I was at the game against the Giants on Thursday night and definitely sensed concern. One player told me that this is starting to feel like the 2023 meltdown all over again (when Philadelphia lost five of its last six games), and the team needs to use this week to figure things out and avoid a full-blown repeat. Right tackle Lane Johnson, whose words carry weight, told reporters that the offense felt predictable. The issue is pretty clear: The Eagles aren't dominating in the running game the way they did a year ago.

From a Fantasy perspective, how are you guys ranking AJ-Devonta-Dallas going forward?

I’m sure AJ first, but just for thoroughness sake.
