2025 Philadelphia Eagles - We’ve never said a bad thing about Tank Bigsby. (118 Viewers)

Winning cures everything. The Vikings win was big. This week will be big, too.

I have a feeling the Birds win decisively this week- revenge, getting JC and Q back, NYG missing starting CBs, Kelly Green game, HFA, etc.

I think the biggest key is gonna be the Eagles’ C position. If they can muddle thru this game with Toth at C and find a way to neutralize sexy Dexy, they coast into the bye and get a chance to lick their wounds and reboot.
Winning also hides a lot of issues. Look no further then 22 season. I’m not saying it’s the same thing and Winning helps but it’s a bad aid on issues. Once Brady left NE and The Pats started losing more, Bill’s antics got tiresome quick. He’s a guy who’s philosophy works if you win almost as much as they did in the last 2 decades but it also wears thin when things aren’t going well. Just look at how Chip Kelly went about the Eagles. He tried doing it “The Patriots Way” and there’s guys who went else where like Chris Long and LaGarrette Blount who said they had more fun winning SB52 in Philly then they had at any point in NE.

Winning solves some stuff but hides a lot of other stuff.

If they trade him they’re forfeiting the season, it ain’t happening
If they don’t and it’s a bigger issue then publicly let on it could derail the season anyway.

He's not getting traded this season. Maybe next season post-June 1, but not at the deadline. As said above, the dead money on a trade is too much.
He’s not getting traded, period. We won the SB so you can’t fire the coach or trade the QB. Next best clicker is the fractured relationship between the QB and WR. It’s tired.
It’s been going on for 2 yrs now the fractured relationship. It’s not clickbait. If BG had to publicly come out and say somethings it’s definitely not nothing.
It’s 100% clickbait
Again you didn’t answer my question though. Why would BG come out and Personally call out Hurts and Brown on a radio show he does while still on the team if it’s all just clickbait? You don’t do that unless there’s issues. All I’m saying is I won’t be shocked when Brown gets traded. It may not be in the next week and a half but this offseason I could see it
“I made a mistake and I assumed that it was something that it wasn’t. I just want to win so bad that I don’t just want to use the media when we need to talk about something and we can fix the problem ourselves. I didn’t add to it in a good light, so that’s my bad. I just assumed, and it made me out to look even worse because I had it all wrong and now people are going to run with that part. I really just want to win, man, and I want brothers to be able to just hash it out.”

That’s a direct quote from BG.

We live in a world where clicks and engagement matter. Without them there’s no business. This isn’t new. Like I said above, we can’t fire the coach or trade the QB. This is the next best thing.
BG was just saving PR face. This was a typical PR statement read.

There were reports prior to this of Hurts and AJ not getting along. BG knew what he was doing but the team felt it was better for BG to try and retract that.
At the end of the day you’ll believe whatever version entertains you. Just remember to like, click, subscribe and tune into the next show!
If you believe that the locker room issues tied to whatever is going on between Jalen and Brown is just media contrived ********, I don’t know what to tell you. This is not a made up thing.
Where there’s smoke there’s fire on this one. Quoting BGs backtrack? Sounded more like PR spin then anything

Im believing what im getting from sources people that’s being reported in the media as well. You can keep the green tinted glasses on and pretend everything’s all right. I chose not too. Either way it sounds like AJ won’t be an Eagle past this season. I’ll be shocked if he’s here start of training camp.

Reading the tea leaves is not “sources”. One of us has been able to walk into the Eagles locker room unstopped for 15 years and the other is you 🤷‍♂️

It’s the same “smoke” for 2-3 years just blown back up when you need some clicks. Just remember click, like, share and subscribe!

Strange how odd it was there wasn’t much smoke last year. Oh that’s right, we were firing the coach and in your mind still need a QB lol

Big Dom brought cheesesteaks and pizza for Cam

Eagles chief of security Dom DiSandro visited Giants rookie RB Cam Skattebo while he was in a Philadelphia area hospital for surgery on his dislocated ankle, and brought him some snacks, per the @PhillyInquirer.

Locker room issues?

I’d venture to guess 70% of the AJ/Hurts stuff is made up BS. I’m sure they were friends who are no longer as close as they used to be. The rest is for the clicks.
The items that concern me aren't the articles or sports radio hot takes. It's Brown's actual social media postings. They are factual. And they all reek of pettiness and selfishness. Whining about targets in games they win. The team's vibe is so 'chill' and team-based that AJ's narcissistic me-first attitude stands out like a sore thumb. The Eagles staff does a good job downplaying it and Hurts would never feed the media craze by commenting on it, but there is a definite underlying issue in that locker room and it's not certain if it will fizzle out or come to a head and cause division. I'd hate to lose a guy with his talent, but he is definitely a cancer (or a pre-cancerous tumor on it's way to being cancer). My ideal scenario is for him to grow up and become a team player. I'd hate to see him producing somewhere else. But I wouldn't be crushed if they decided to move him and remove the cancer. I think Devonta would be just fine as the WR1.
Smith is like WR1B or can be an A like he did yesterday. Yeah AJ is giving me TO vibes. The guys in the locker room are gonna say the right things if this was media clickbait it couldn’t last the amount of time it has.

Best case is we finish the season with him and trade him in the offseason. There’s always someone desperate for a diva wideout. Yeah there’s guys complaining wanting the ball all over the league, but how many are acting like children throwing a temper tantrum on social media putting cryptic messages. Heck ive heard stuff from 4 different people and most of the media is saying similar now.

I’ll be shocked if he’s here Sept ‘26

Nick Marigold former jet passed away after battling illness. The reason I’m posting this is Marigold played Center and was the Jets version of Eagles Fan Favorite Jason Kelce. Numerious Jets fans where his jersey. Rex Ryan who was Nick’s coach for awhile was pretty broken up on NFL Today on CBS. Told the story of Rec’s last game with the Jets and the players and him knew he was getting fired. Marigold was injured and wouldn’t be playing, but he went up to Ryan and told his Coach “I want to play today even thought I’m hurt for you Coach. That’s how much I respect you.” Marigold was that kind of player.

I got to meet Nick at one of Anthony Becht’s Football games I helped out at here in Delco. Anthony would bring former and current players and coaches from his teams he played for (including other local football guys and college teammates) to help run drills and teach the kids life lessons. Nick was intimidating size but when you got to know him he was a big teddy Bear.

What stood out the most was at camp we had a young kid who was dead set on being a Center. He was having issues. Marigold noticed and stayed each day after camp 15-20 mins to teach this kid to be better. From day 1 to 5 he stayed to help this kid. That’s almost 2 hrs spent. But that was just who Marigold was. The NFL really lost a heck of a guy yesterday. Another gone far too early
